This has to be one of the best little hotel i have ever stayed in. The owner is just brilliant and so helpful. The room has so many small, but attentive, additions - check out the hairdryer holder which I now want to buy. Breakfast was superb. I simply cannot speak highly enough of this hotel.

Used the hotel as our base for golf trip to East Yorkshire. Lots of room combinations many on ground floor which is great as no stairs to encounter with you gear. Tim and his wife very pleasant and helpful as we're all the staff at Breakfast which was of an excellent quality. Hotel will also arrange your golf on the...

I was one of a group of twenty three who stayed here on a golf break. Tim, the owner was a charming and attentive host. The place is not, nor does it claim to be a traditional hotel, but rather, it is a large guest house type of establishment, and, judged on that basis, it performs very well indeed. Whilst...

Spent a lovely week here quilting. We were spoilt rotten by the owners with lovely home cooked meals and home cooked biscuits and cakes. Plenty of fresh iced water was provided throughout the day. My room was spacious and well equipped and spotlessly clean. The little sitting room was lovely with a real fire and small bar. A very enjoyable...

On arrival we were welcomed in a very friendly way and shown to our room. The room was very well appointed with everything required for a comfortable stay. We were in brid to attend a concert at the spa theatre which ended at around 22.45 when we arrived back at the hotel we had a nightcap in the well stocked...

Me and my girlfriend stayed for one nite looking forward to our luxury room with a four poster bed, only to be greeted by an abrasive basil fawlty type owner who after giving us his list of instructions for our stay gave us our keys to our room were we found our four poster bed to be a small double...

The company that I work for put me up here over night and it was fabulous. Someone was waiting for me to arrive as I was working late, the room was very comfortable and the location could not have been any better. Thank you very much.

This hotel puts on some superb quilting courses run by people like Pat Archibald. The courses are fantastic and the food is all home cooked. You are kept going with ground coffee, tea home made cakes and generally lots to eat at lunch time whilst undertaking the courses.

This premises is not a hotel, it is a guest house, our party of pensioners on a bridge weekend filled all the rooms. Arrived to find no heating on in November, there isn't central heating but the electric heaters had not been turned on in anticipation of our arrival, nor was the open fire in the bar ever lit. Light...

Correct – yes we are not a hotel. We have never said we were, and this was indeed made very clear to your organiser. It is such a shame that he has obviously misled you and given you false expectation. No use of the function area or bar had been booked during the day and again this was clarified and...
