We found the staff in this Premier Inn to be very courteous and friendly. It may have been the time when we visited, but on the whole it was also the quietest one we have stayed in... and we were on the ground floor! I didnt hear any doors banging which is unusual!

I arrived quite late and was let in straight away. The room behind the reception area caught my eye because it was untidy.

This premier Inn was old style and dated. There was plenty of different sounds. The floor was squeaky, so you could hear footsteps when people walked past

I travelled here with a work course. I was seriously impressed. The staff were extremely friendly. The room spotless. The bed comfortable. Nothing was to small or big ask for staff. We shared some good conversations. The only downside it’s off the beaten track so you need a car a

The room was poor and very noisy due to constant traffic from other guests walking in the corridor outside. The food however was good though portion sizes at supper could have been more generous. Breakfast was excellent!

Do you have the new mattresses yet?
I'm not sure but they were comfortable.

With regard to hard mattresses which I mention in my review. The manager says they are due new mattresses. However when we arrived the member of staff assured me that our room contained the new Hypnos beds. In fact I booked because the new Hypnos beds were installed. The lady on reception also said that they are still turning the mattresses and that some customers find the new mattresses too hard.
Thank you for your question, I would like to express my apologies for the confusion over the type of mattress in your room. We do not currently have the new Hypnos mattress yet but are due them in the near future. We only keep mattresses for a certain life span until they are due replacing, flipping the mattress every 3 months to ensure they are the most comfortable they can be. All Premier Inn Hotels recently had to watch a new training video on how the business is doing and what the future looks like and one of the messages within the video stated that although some of our hotels have the new Hypnos mattress', not all of them do yet. It would seem that a member of my team has misunderstood this message and believed we already have them. This training issue has now been dealt with and the whole team understand that we do not have the new mattresses yet but are expecting them soon. Hope this helps answer your question. Regards, Dave Bridgewater (Operations Manager for Premier Inn Redditch West)
