My husband and I spent 8 nights in this lovely hotel. We used the hotel as we would use our own home. It has a wonderful country manor feel with views across the fields and lake. We were able to invite family and friends over...More
We were given afternoon tea as a present. Lovely atmosphere and excellent range of delicacies ranging from savouries, delicious scones with cream and jam, tea or coffee of your choice and fizz. Beautiful setting in parkland. Service was impeccable and courteous. A real treat.

We had a room on the floor below the hall and bar area. From memory there were about eight steps down which I was able to manage with some help. However there was a large open lift on this flight of stairs which could be used if needed. You needed to walk through the bar area to access the rooms we were in but this did not concern us. There were toilets right next to the restaurant area which were fully accessible. Before we traveled I contacted the hotel directly. They were most helpful in allocating a suitable room. Hope this helps. Julia
