This was a great find for us looking for a peaceful B & B not too far from Birmingham. We arrived as the Christmas decorations were going up and it would be hard to find a more wonderful show in a private home. A dozen planted trees on the lawn all lit-up and several trees fully decorated in the house... More

We have just returned from two nights at Kateshill House and wish we had been staying for two weeks! What a beautiful house and Judith and Graham are the perfect hosts!!! We were greeted with a delicious afternoon tea in the spectacular drawing room (home made mince pies!!) and our Seymour Room was divine. Every comfort you could imagine, combined... More

The Kateshill House is a beautiful small hotel set on a hill overlooking Bewdley and the River Severn. Everything about it is tasteful and luxurious. We stayed there as part of a group for my cousin's 80th birthday. The bedrooms and public rooms ooze luxury. The birthday dinner was excellent as was the breakfast next morning. The proprietors and staff... More

I have stayed at Kateshill House on several occasions and this review is specific to my latest stay. The location is ideal, in that it is within comfortable walking distance of the centre of Bewdley but it is in a location where there are no problems associated with traffic noise etc. It difficult to imagine a better location. Kateshill House,... More

I'll start with Wow...! I have been fairly lucky with business travel over the years, I have stayed in some of what people might think are really superb hotels. Honestly, Kateshill is a definite benchmark for almost all of them. This place really is good and if it weren't for me keeping a goal to review every business location I... More

I can only reiterate what has been said by other guests staying at this lovely guest house. Only to add you MUST go and see the wonderful sweet chestnut tree that is over 500 years old. A stunning place to stay.

Without doubt the best place we have ever stayed. The pictures do not do justice to how fantastic and luxurious the house is. Unfortunately we only got to enjoy this wonderful place for one night but has made a lasting impression on us and we fully intend to stay there on several occasions in the future. The rooms are stunning... More

I stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful house, decorated and furnished in style and it's obvious a lot of thought has gone into this. The gardens are well maintained and attractive, and really help set the scene as you arrive. It's the extra nice touches that make this so different from the rest. Complimentary sherry decanter in the room, and as... More

Spent 3 nights in this beautiful guest house. From the minute we walked in we were in awe of this house. Everything is exquisite from the furnishings, wallpaper, to the property grounds. The house is immaculate and extremely well maintained, the rooms have lots of lovely touches like chocolate biscuits, great choice on tea tray, bottled water, toiletries and stationery.... More

If you are looking for luxury then this 5 star b&b ticks all the boxes. A beautifully renovated grade ll listed Georgian house, with stunning gardens and only a 10 min walk into Bewdley. Classic touches such as chocolates in your room, a sherry decanter, toiletrees, bath robes and slippers allow you to fully unwind. We stayed in the cleaves... More
