We stayed on a Sunday so prices were reduced. We had room 304 which was at the very top of the hotel at the back with 3 flights of stairs and a split bedroom with bathroom across the landing, which was private to the room.. The bathroom was big with bath and overhead shower. The bed was a tad too...

You know what you're getting with a wetherspoons hotel and this is a really nice place for a good value break. Rooms are pleasant , food is regular fare but a nice little town to explore and always helpful staff.

First time we had stayed in a Wetherspoons’ hotel. Impressed. This was the main hotel in the main street of Bewdley. The receptionist was very jolly and helpful and upstairs the old features of the hotel (including a sloping floor in our room!) had been well preserved while the bedrooms had had a complete makeover. Very comfortable, even if our...

At one time this place was probably great. It is now passed its sell by date and must be on mr weatherspoons 'must do up' list. It has no designated area for hotel guests to dine so if you stay as a family and want to eat there on a Friday or Saturday night good luck! We had to take...

Bearing in mind that this is an old building so we did not expect a modern interior but it could have been sooooo much better! Dusty lampshades, peeling plaster, and a very boring drab room with little character. The bed kept moving and the toilet seat was wobbly! Room was really poor compared to others we have stayed in! Positive:...

A warm welcome on arrival and a very comfortable and large room which was on the top floor. Everything was spotlessly clean and the extremely comfortable bed had 4 huge pillows. I was pleased to see that there was plenty of tea, coffee and milk and a nice touch was a bottle of both still and sparkling water. The spacious...

Great Food at reasonable prices go often as live near by . Staff friendly. Tables could do with a bit more wiping down or refurb but you get what you pay for,. Toilets / washroom are very well kept. Also have a good outside area for smokers although don't myself. A car park available but watch the carpark meter sometime...

I don't like paying the prices that places charge for a basic Sunday roast, but we decided to eat in the George last Sunday and found they had some new meals on the menu, Lamb Shank included, wow this was good, meat that fell of the bone, tasted amazing, the gravy was a meal on its own, I wish they...
