Stayed for one night in a room out the back in the courtyard. Very quiet location nice and tidy with ensuite power shower. Flat screen TV room was a good size with free Wi-Fi. Didn't eat in the restaurant at night but did have a breakfast in the morning which was served hot and was very nice. Staff were very...

I have now lived in Wootton Bassett for 8 weeks. In that time I have found that the best coffee is to be had at the Angel. You can watch the world's go by whilst drinking feat coffee which comes with home made biscuits. The vegetarian elements of the lunch menu is inspiring. Thank you for making drab winters days...

I'm a regular visitor to Royal Wootton Bassett - and this is my first choice hotel - when they have rooms available (they do get busy) I always opt for the executive rooms at the rear - very clean and tidy with all the amenities you could wish for. Excellent breakfast and evening meals are good to - but more...

Old chef back and things have changed. Better trained staff, food is now first class. I had 16 oz. T-Bone which just melted in your mouth as did my wife's fillet. Had pigeon breast as a starter and Poached pairs with a difference for pudding. Thank god they have sorted things out

Excellent accommodation spacious room and clean. Service excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant and breakfast excellent. Only downside could smell cigarette smoke think it was because we were on the ground floor of court yard and smokers outside.

Stayed here before & was fine but this time it was not so good. The floor of the bathroom was soaking from rain through the roof window so we called the maid to see what they could do. They mopped it up but was still soaking so we had towels put down. The room surfaces were covered in dust &...

Food was great, breakfast was lovely. Room was small but functional. Unfortunately room was right on the patio where all the smokers came out but luckily it wasn't too much of a problem as it wasn't too warm so didn't need the window open too much. If you want dinner on a Friday/Saturday night, book a table even if you...
