Everything was great apart from the noise in the evening. We had been out all day at a wedding and came home around 9pm as we had a baby with us. There was a function downstairs so was loud till close to 1am. We had read a review which said that might be the case so expected it. Luckily baby...

We stayed over Easter weekend to be close to Bath and had a lovely stay. The hotel room was comfortable and well equipped and the pub food, including breakfast, was delicious! I would highly recommend staying at the Kings Arms if you are in the area.

Great new rooms on the ground floor, great for my elderly mother. The staff were very helpful with the booking of these rooms, as they were not finished when I was booking. Great location in the middle of town, good parking. Perfect for us.

We Will return! It is clean, welcoming and an ideal location for visiting friends, Bristol and Bath if you don't mind a drive. Off street parking. Thank you Kings Arms you're very accommodating. Highly recommended as a good place to stay.

Had to stay in a Wadworth pub, after a brewery tour in Devizes. Three rooms were being checked in one after the other, so obviously a popular stopover. Our room was in the recently renovated courtyard annexe, and a very high spec. It still smelt of paint and new carpet, and was spotlessly clean. Good Wi-Fi in the bar, but...

Spent night in Melksham after visiting Stourhead (National Trust) and before visiting Lacock Abbey (also National Trust). The hotel and bar staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet which was lovely. The only downside of our stay was the restaurant that it was very slow - took nearly an hour for our fish and chips...

On arriving at the hotel we were welcomed by the staff and given any information we may need. We were told when meals were available if we wished and what time the breakfast was available the following morning. We found the hotel very central to the town but not noisy and there was the car park at the rear. We...

The hotel is very charming but with age comes the normal creaks and quirks you'd expect from a place so old. The room was nice and spacious but the stairs to get to it were an adventure. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. I would recommend this place just for the experience not the rooms.

A good value hotel with lots of space for parking (free) and within easy walking distance of pubs/restaurants in the town. Mind you, this is Melksham so the quality does vary. Ask about internet reception as it may not be good in all the rooms. To be fair this may have been sorted out now, but worth asking nevertheless.
