I have stayed in Inns all across the UK and there are those that combine the best of a pub and a hotel and those that are clearly a pub with rooms as an afterthought... This one is the latter - no allocated parking, SERIOUSLY loud music playing until midnight (Saturday night), not particularly clean or well decorated. Friendly staff...

Dear Max, Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to give us your honest opinion. We agree with your comment and do not pretend to be anything else other than a pub with rooms and great breakfast, however we are working hard on refurbishing the rooms to become much more. We currently have just completed the...

Good facilities, good food and very dog friendly. An excellent place to stay if you are in Malborough. The staff are friendly and helpful and the Inn is very attractive with pretty rooms overlooking the courtyard.I would love to stay there again.

Stayed two days over Christmas in a very VERY tired small room with, strangely, 'fire door, keep shut" on bathroom door. Rooms above pub accessed via very steep back stairs, out the back, up a fire escape. Came busy Christmas Eve at 10:15 pm, bar heaving, short of staff, shown up to room up metal fire escape... wrong room... down...

Although a little late, we would like to offer our apologies for your unsatisfactory stay. We are currently refurbishing The Lamb Inn. We have completed the bar area and the rooms are our next mission. The light switch has now been fixed along with a few other small issues. We have taken on more staff so hopefully this will no...

We held our gathering after our daughters christening here and we were really happy with it. The buffet was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it and they were very helpful and accomodating for us. Thank you!

5 of us had lunch here today for a family members birthday and were very impressed. An extensive menu with lots of choices, great portions and really tasty food. The outdoor courtyard seating area is lovely and so accessible being just off the highstreet but away from all the hustle and bustle. My husband had the abnormal breakfast and was...

I think average is a fair description. Stay here and you will be reasonably comfortable but don't expect too much. Positives; Great pub atmosphere Great ales Reasonable rooms Good position within Marlborough Very good English breakfast Negatives; Rooms are tired and need a better clean- we found previous occupants rubbish in ours, not that we were looking for it. Window...

We stayed bed and breakfast and there was a live band in the evening. Great fun, great place to stay. Very clean. Comfy bed too. Just off the High Street. Walking distance to Zaika for excellent Indian food.

The Lamb Inn is a Real Pub and Hotel, one that has a great feel to it as soon as you step inside. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean ( bed a bit lumpy) but who cares because the best bit was breakfast! It was fab😋, all sourced locally , bacon , sausage, eggs etc.... This...
