Whenever we visit our family in the area, we almost always eat here at least once. It is not glamorous, yes the service can be slow on occasion and the seating isn't the most comfortable, but boy can they deliver great food. Ok, it is a pub but the food is much better than the chain pubs and whilst not...

Tried here based in TripAdvisor reviews while staying at the Wentbridge House for a change of scene. Place is packed for the middle of nowhere. I soon found to my regret that they obviously rely on thier reputation on the social media platforms as the service was the worst I can remember. I sat at a table for a full...

Visited the pub for lunch with my partner and her dad. The food was very good and generous portion sizes, starters are not required! I had the steak and ale pie and it was one of the best pie's I have had. Great pub, great food, thoroughly recommended.

Sunday lunch after the refurbishment Hope they didn't spend a lot of money on the refurbishment because it looks just the same as it did before. But then if it ain't broke don't fix it. Carvery still £9.50 and great value for money. We ate around 4pm and all the veg still looked fresh as if they had just been...

Local pub. Felt very not local sat in a local pub. Every time we moved we were watched a pub stuck in the 1970 s somewhere. With s newish part stuck on the side of the bar Ample parking to the side probably due to steepness of car park and village not a visit in bad ice or snow conditions

Amazing food, wine and staff. Lovely ambiance, need to book as very popular and it deserves to be. Great choice in menu to suit all. Lovely on sunny day as great beer garden. Staff are keen to make sure your visit is enjoyable.

The Bluebell has been closed for a couple of months due to a fire. It finally reopened its doors this week so we thought we would pay a visit. Its a place we have always enjoyed for the lovely bar meals. Its a very old building and I wondered if it would be changed much but thankfully it hasnt. Still...

We went here as a family for my Grandfather's 80th birthday, and it was absolutely terrible. Initial impressions were bad when we didn't get to sit down at our allotted time of 1:30 and my elderly grandfather was left standing for about twenty minutes. When we did sit down it was little better - I had to suffer a chintzy...
