Spent one night here and had a lovely corner room with views in two directions - inc the famous cow and calf rocks. We arrived early and so had a relaxed lunch - which was also lovely but not normal cheap pub fair. Fabulous position - walks across the moor from the front door. We went into town as well...

Stayed here on a Virgin 'Experience' Voucher bought as a gift and chose this venue for the breathtaking views. Don't want to waste as much time as I usually do writing reviews, as I'm still pretty mad. Ive stayed at cheaper places/B&Bs that have offered more than this place. Cut it short- Put in the attic up two flights of...

Stayed 2 nights recently and very happy. Asked for (and received) a quiet room, top floor under the roof. No noise from pub, road or fellow guests although you sacrifice a view. Bed a little uncomfortable and shower pressure poor otherwise perfectly acceptable. Wifi good. Restaurant also very good but no special menu at weekends so a little pricey. Don't...

We stayed just one night, but wished we could have stayed more. The service from staff was warm, friendly and had a great sense of humour. The rooms were a nice mix of modern updated amenities and old world charm. The personal note on the bed from the person who cleaned the room was a delightfully unexpected touch. The staff...

We were staying at the hotel with friends for a family wedding. We arrived Friday afternoon, and we're checked in by James, who was really friendly and helpful, immediately offering to book us a taxi to the wedding next morning. We had a very pleasant meal in the evening and the buffet breakfast was excellent. One of the biggest, tastiest...

Spent Friday night at the Cow and Calf, arrived mid afternoon had a beer, booked in, our only problem was the fact that our room was on the second floor up 2 flights of stairs. We later had a nice meal with drinks for a reasonable price. Breakfast was also very pleasant with glorious views over the dale and Ilkley.
