We stayed here for one night with our two children - 8 and 6. The room was perfectly adequate for what we needed. Double bed for us and a large sofa bed for the kids. Room was clean and bright. It had velux windows so no view unless you stood on the bed. This was a bit of a shame...

I was in room 9 and see there was another review about this room. I would certainly request NOT to stay in this room again. Not much natural light - slanted ceilings which you need to be REALLY careful of, especially during the night. They cannot help the weather, but it was incredibly windy and rainy, of which you hear...

The Good; Superb food I a warm proper English pub serving real ales, sitting along side a roaring open fire is an fantastic way to spend a restful night after a long breezy walk across Ilkley Moor. The Bad; the bed was uncomfortable and did not have enough blankets on it in a bleak mid winters evening to keep us...

Stayed here to visit family & friends as I'm from the area but now live away. Booked direct for a bargain price of £45 per room per night including continental breakfast. It's in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly check in by James. Check out at midday which is a bonus. Booked the large family room with a view (Room...

The staff were very helpful and reasonably pleasant the room was small but bearable the shower was massive and both were clean that`s the best bit. Going for our evening meal on the first night half the menu was sold out the second night like most people we assumed it would have been a full menu but there was even...

Room was nice and comfortable ! Room had a lovely view and exactly as advertised. Breakfast was exceptional. Only issue was "Ben" Ben refused to accept Amex signature. Claiming that "machine said declined" When receipt actually showed "voided" which means that it was cancelled by operator. Most Amex issued cards (especially since 1998) are signature only. Even after advising "Ben"...

Rooms well presented and to high standard of cleanliness . Only downside is rooms at back suffer from noise and smell from kitchen extractors . Not good on hot days when you want window open . Breakfasts very good but spoilt by rats just outside window. Also had this problem whilst enjoying a drink outside when 2 rats fighting literally...

We had a couple of nights' B&B here in late summer. It's perfectly located overlooking Ilkley Moor, yet just a few hundred yards away from the edge of Ilkley town. Our room was comfortable and fine for a few nights, but had a view over the car park and recycling bins instead of the moor view we'd expected. On the...

I stayed here for 1 night. My father was born in Ilkley and his ashes were spread at the Cow & Calf rocks. So the hotel was an ideal place to stay. The hotel was really nice. The room was clean and tidy and had all the amenities you wanted. The staff were helpful and friendly too. The continental breakfast...
