How lucky I was to choose Badger Fields for my one night stay over in Mytholm on the Pennine Way. Miriam was the perfect host serving up the tea in the garden on arrival after I had exhausted myself on the steep climb from the village. An in house evening meal was also most welcome; I definitely did not want...

Daft we may be, but after the trials of attempting to cycle the Pennine Bridle way this place was a godsend. Miriam and Gordon fuss round you like you were one of theirs. Comfy, homely , great evening meal and breakfast, place to lockup bikes , warm shower, well equipped room. Fantastic location. recommended.

A welcome stop after a long day walking and a steep climb out of Hebden Bridge. We received a warm welcome and tea and cake in the garden was a nice touch. Bedroom was comfortable, located in the attic extension of the bungalow. Lots of beams and lots of padding to avoid bumped heads! Downstairs bathroom ( robes provided). Nice...

Pennine Way day 3. Arrived somewhat damp. But no problem to the host - and a welcoming pot of tea and cake swiftly made available. Room well laid out with a number of thoughtful additions. Compact upstairs room with separate basin and toilet facilities shared with another room. Downstairs bathroom contained good shared shower facility. Sharing worked fine. Excellent, repeat...

Beautiful location very close to the trail. We had a very friendly welcome with tea and a delicious Victoria sponge. Everyone loved the roast pork and Miriam had made a lovely lentil bake for me. Very comfortable room.

Very nice place to stay, cozy room and beautiful garden. Was welcomed with delicious home-baked cake and tea/coffee. Was lucky that other guests had booked for an evening meal (which I missed to do), so I could join and got some great home-cooked dinner, too. Great breakfast.

Probably one of the steepest short climbs you will do on a walk before you reach the welcoming sight of the B&B. Boot tray provided with plenty of newspaper to dry out wet boots. A welcome tea/coffee and cake on arrival. The upstairs twin is a bit cramped but for one night when walking it was fine. Very (as in...

Finally found this little haven after following the instructions provided by the owner. It was a very welcome sight at the end of a long day's walking. I was welcomed with a pot of tea and home cake. Delicious. Then shown to my room (I was the only resident that night), and changed and bathed. Excellent dinner in the evening,...

Perfectly located for the Mary Townley Loop and Penine Way. Fantastic value for money, friendly hosts but not intrusive. Tea or coffee when we arrived with homemade cake brought to our room which was warm, clean and had everything we needed. A shared bathroom but DON'T let that stop you booking, it was spotless, nice big bath with a separate...

This was our 3rd stop on the Pennine Way. Don't be fooled when you make it to Hebden Bridge. You still have another mile and half walk up some very steep paths on the other side of the Calder Valley to reach this B and B. Plus its an expensive cab ride to go anywhere and eat or have a...

So sorry that you kept bumping your head on my padded beams. I am unable to alter the way the house is built. Thankfully most people enjoy the uniqueness of the property I do offer an evening meal for the very reason that we are out of Hebden Bridge and I realise that after a long days walk the last...
