i have to say that our two night stay was really nice as the rooms we were in were clean with all the facilities needed - and grounds to die for - and so picturesque. however, breakfast was a disaster from start to finish - this should just not happen. two x yorkshire breakfasts £ 9.50 on menu - £...

Haven't thought about this place in years.. Just happened to call as we were passing as our original choice was fully booked.. it's so under rated it's untrue! Just sampled the new Brunch menu which has a wide array of wonderful cuisine, something to suit every palate.. The place itself has changed so much the staff are attentive and I...

My family took me here for my birthday . The food is outstanding, well presented and absolutely delicious. The surrounding area is beautiful. There is a beautiful area for picnicking in the summer and we are already planning to return to enjoy a family outing.

From start to finish we had the most wonderful experience. Joanne, the new manager, is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. It was a birthday party and all staff were on hand to make it perfect. I would recommend anyone to book their event here. We will be back. Looking forward to the Summer, I know there is lots planned....

As check in is not till after 14.00 I attended the funeral first then went to hotel before returning to function. On arrival there were no staff on premises or other guests. I phoned Rob who talked me through the security pad and after entering I accessed my room key. The fact I was the only person in the hotel...

Me and my wife had our wedding reception here in the lodge on the 20 December 16. What an amazing day, facilitated by Jo and her attentive staff. From start to finish the whole experience was extremely well organised and ran like clock work. We also stayed the night in the lodge with all our friends, the rooms were very...

We had a couple of rooms here... few points that will help.... They took my payment twice and I didn't really get an apology for it but the refund came quickly. When you get there if it's late you have to call to be let in and you put a code in the door. It was a bit confusing but...

My husband and I did something stupid ... we thought we were starting our holiday flying from Leeds Bradford on Saturday 24 Sept. It's only when we got to the long stay car park I realised we'd gotten there a day early! Rather than travel back north for we decided to spend time in York and book a hotel close...

Stayed at Gomersal Lodge Hotel for one night, and the room I was given was an absolute disgrace. Started off being put into room number 4. No wardrobe to hang clothes, no draws to put clothes in, no chair to put clothes on. Asked for an immediate move, and was given room 6. Room 6 was an absolute disgrace!! There...

The title says it all, because you couldn't get any lower. Than whale waste. On arrival, I waited to check in for 15 minutes until I encounted the receptionist/night porter who appeared to be on day release. The man appeared disgruntled as he hopped around the hotel murmuring what sounded like foreign slurs. I was brought forth to my room...
