Visited the inn with my husband whilst on our honeymoon. The inn is secluded and has a lot of greenery around the area ideal for relaxing walks (however was far to wet when we were there). Beautiful settings. The room was perfext. Very large and clean. Complimentary beveridges available in the study. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were exeptional and we...

We booked here for a Penn State football weekend as it was less than half the price of rooms in State College. Our room was on the third floor and included a huge bedroom with a king bed, window seat, a desk and several other chairs in addition to a separate room with twin beds tucked under the eaves so...

One option on this property is a replica Norwegian "stabbur" - a log cabin type building that is more luxury than cabin. If you are of Scandinavian heritage you will especially appreciate it. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and unique. The main living quarters are up a flight of stairs, but the staff helps with luggage. If you stay in this...

The Inn and the staff are outstanding. Couldn't have picked a more perfect locale for our wedding night and entertaining out of town guests (all of us, hotel snobs!). This was top notch. Breakfast was impeccably set with antique Wedgewood China and Waterford Crystal, I truly felt like a queen! We will be back for each anniversary.

Peaceful, quiet, refined and such a host... Do not miss if you are around. It would be a mistake not to mention the breakfast, it was delicious along with a nice background music. No noise in the area, so peaceful and such a beautiful nature, well trimmed gardens

The room I stayed in was reasonable priced, very clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious. The living room was cozy and comfortable-I spent the evening reading downstairs and was very comfortable. I would definitely go back!

What a fabulous stay we had at the Inn last week. My husband had to drag me kicking and screaming to the car, because I never wanted to leave this beautiful house and this amazing staff. Without exception, every single staff member that we encountered could not do enough for us. The latte's each morning were lavish and plentiful. The...

We had a tremendous time at the Inn at Solvang. The accommodation is fabulous, the setting wonderful, the food lovely and the hospitality outstanding. Anyone visiting Pennsylvania will get a real treat staying here. Everyone was helpful and friendly, but Stephanie (our host) was outstanding and could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

My husband and I have been driving to the Inn at Solvang for 15 years from State College as our little getaway. The setting is idyllic and the Inn Keeper, Stephanie, is gracious, knowledgable and a wonderful cook! Every breakfast Stephanie has made us has been wonderful and she's a well-traveled, interesting conversationalist. I highly recommend!

“Not a bad room to be had but, if you like to sleep in a bit best to avoid the rooms at top of stairs as the chatter at breakfast travels.”

“The Garden Room was quiet, with a lovely view of the forest. The bathroom was updated, spotless, and with a whirlpool tub in addition to the shower. We loved our room. The sheets were high quality, one of my favorite passions, and the furniture was very comfortable.”

“Ivy Suite is large enough for a family or a couple that just wants to spread out. One large bed and two smaller beds in another room. Plus the veranda is amazing. The staircase to this third floor suite is narrow so accessibility may be an issue but very private.”

“All rooms are great, but my favorites are the huge Heart and Hands room on the second floor and the suite on the third floor, which includes access to the roof--excellent for stargazing!!”
