The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. We were particularly impressed with how updated everything was. We made dinner in our room every night & the dishes were minimal, but we made due. We liked the fact that they really try to be Eco-friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

My wife and I stayed at the Nature Inn at Bald Eagle for two nights in May for a "rest" getaway. The place was very clean, delightful, quiet ... an idyllic place for what I would call an "intermediate" price. We are not avid birdwatchers, but if you are, you would see a bunch of them ... and the Inn...

Clean, well maintained establishment in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed drinks on our deck overlooking the water. (Room 208/Teal) Hiking was squishy this time of year but we enjoyed not dealing with crowds. Saw 3 eagles and many species of birds. It was a nice touch having binoculars in the room for our use. The breakfast was delicious and filling....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night for his birthday. The place was beautiful and the view was picture perfect. The boxed lunches offered were delicious and the included breakfast was just right. We will definitely return and I highly recommend staying here.

Intimate lodge in a beautiful setting. Visit any time of year. Received an upgraded room to a lake view. Made-to-order breakfast, delicious. Good sized room and bathroom. Lodge is spacious, with many cozy nooks to sit and relax. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do in the park in spring, summer, fall. We visited the day after...

We read the reviews on tripadvisor and booked this place for a nice spring weekend. The reviews are true, this is a great place to unwind. We got the lake view room which is so worth it when you wake up and see deer running in the grounds and birds chirping everywhere! The staff is very friendly, they brought us...

We scheduled the Inn with no prior knowledge of the facilities. We just decided to take our chances and hope for the best. It turned out to be the very best. The room was beautiful, we opted for a single room figuring we would only be sleeping there... it exceeded everything we would want in a room. We actually spent...

This was such a welcomed surprise. We booked an overnight last minute after deciding to go to the Blue/White Game at Penn State. The best part of this trip was this inn. It's homey and lodge-ish, but modern. Very well maintained and extremely clean. Lots of things to do. Trails and fishing is easy to access (we have a two...

As noted in title, this was a great quiet, relaxing place to stay. Eco-friendly, lots of great displays in the dining room, binoculars and bird ID book in our room to help with identification of the birds at the feeders outside our window. nice personal deck in the back with chairs to relax and enjoy the birds and view. We...

I was at the Sate Park campground which was too noisy as it was close to the road. I had dropped in to check out the Nature Canter, just out of curiosity. Once I saw how nice it was, and with very reasonable prices, I stayed for two nights. More expensive than camping, but oh the good nights of sleep...
