Very lovely stay. Mahendran was a wonderful host and made the stay comfortable and homely. He is also a local from Munnar. So if you need any advice on sights to see, things to do, or about Munnar in general, I'd ask him. As for the resort, I'd advice visitors visiting in the next 5 months after I Post the review not to go with a car with low ground clearance as there is road work around the hotel. The hotel itself is very home like and comfy. It's situated on the side of a valley with a river below it, and it gives you some of the most scenic views from the rooms. The food in the restaurant is very delicious (I recommend the Nasi Goreng and the Spaghetti with white sauce). The facilities in the hotel are also up to the mark with a PS5 to keep teens busy and 24/7 hot water, although the pool gets a little chilly. Other than that it is a wonderful hotel.
Karma members, I would strongly recommend this resort as it is one of the best resorts that Karma has to offer.

Ambience wise all rooms are facing to valley on upside and river on down. So great combination of river plus mountains in a single sight with beautiful sounds of river once you open the balcony doors.
Food being a North Indian side we didn't enjoy taste much but it was clean and hygienic.
Amenities wise you can pass your time with indoor games like table tennis, carrom board and few kids games. In the evening hours Mr Mahendra is carrying out very good family games.
Cleanliness wise it's very good.

Situated 15 kms (40 minutes) from Munnar town. There are two or three approach roads. One is very narrow and un-metalled and one has to travel for 2 kms from the main road to reach the resort. So avoid it if you can. Parking is available on site. There is no market/shop/restaurant etc near by. No room for drivers, they arrange room for drivers at Rs 1500 per night Rooms face the river and one can listen to the sound of flowing water from the room and the balcony which is very soothing. Rooms are moderate in size with an in room safe/tea and coffee maker, TV etc. Bath area is ok with toilteries provided. There is a pool around which a camp fire is organised Breakfast spread is not a big one, basic things are available along with eggs to order. For dinner it is better to pre order the food at least two hours in advance. But even after ordering more than two hours in advance, one has to wait for some more time after coming to the restaurant. It appeared that there was a shortage of staff. There are only two wait staff: one looks after the room service and other serves the guests in the restaurant. The whole family can't eat food together as different dishes come at different times. However, food choices are multiple and the food is delicious. There is no bar on site. There is a TT table and carrom board, foosball table and some books to read. This resort is far below in comfort, facilities, and service as compared to other Karma resorts elsewhere. There are no entertainment activities available for the guests in the evening. Check in and check out was quick. Staff members have a positive attitude and are always ready to help.

Very well located. There is a river running behind the resort which gives a very soothing sound of gushing water.

We had a beautiful stay at Karma Munnar with our room facing the flowing stream and mountains, waking up to the gurgling sound of the waters and very pleasant weather. The staff were always around to assist you with food suggestions in the dining restaurant. Really enjoyed the varied items on the breakfast buffet. The couple of meals we had were delicious. Had a very good one day tour suggested by the Front office. The evening Trek was quite refreshing and pleasant. Over all a very relaxing stay.

Our stay of 7 days, at Karma Munnar had indeed, was one of the best and turned out into a pleasant and memorable one, way beyond our expectations.
The comfort level started even before reaching there, that is, when I started calling the resort on phone to enquire the details about the facilities. Ms.Reshma, the General Manager, whom I called many times, irrespective of time, answered all my questions in her polite voice and pleasing manner. She had arranged the Taxi Service to reach the resort from Ernakulam. She promptly responded even beyond working hours. The reception staff with a special mention of Mr.Ashwin and Mr.Deep, were the best and made what ever arrangements we required, including our transport for sight seeing episodes.
The room was very spacious with all amenities including the neat looking bath room, linens, digital cash box, electric kettle for making Tea etc..
The view of the river and landscape from the balcony was fantastic and you will never become tired of watching it at any time of the day.
The maintenance staff,through out the 7 days did their job with professional touch, thanks to Mr.Balamurali, their 'in- charge'
The Restaurant, here, is noteworthy to be mentioned. Starting from the Buffet Breakfast which contained the regional, North indian and continental dishes to choose from, made us look forward for the Breakfast every day. The lunch and dinner menu with delicious quality and taste is worth mentioning , thanks to the chief Chef, Mr.Vineeth. Those two young staff, especially Mr.Thiru and Mr.Ashwin with their active and pleasant manners took care of us to our satisfaction. We have to mention Mr.Frajesh, the F & B Manager, who was all the time there, in the Restaurant, to take care of our needs, and his explanation and assistance in selecting the dishes were really useful. He is a guy who will make you comfortable by his very friendly approach.
on the Whole, our stay at Karma Munnar was a nice and enjoyable trip, courtesy all the staff of Karma
Ms.Reshma( GM) had organised a camp fire and Karoke near swimming pool. It was very enjoyable which made every one of us dance to the music. Thanks Ms.Reshma!

Actually there is no walking booking of room. You need to book through their Kochi office and for petty payment which you consume during your stay can be paid through cards ir cash

I liked the food; I didn't see many places around though.
I was on a tour so was dropped off.
Food was reasonably priced; can't remember how much. Breakfast was buffet ( traditional Indian and international option). Dinner was buffet too I think, again I liked it, but it will depend on your taste! Enjoy 😀
There are more places to choose from in the Chithirapuram area.
