Great place. Supreme service. Calm and beautiful place. Rooms are big with amazing views. Breakfast buffet is small selection but delicious. Wonderful staff, always ready to help with a smile. Game room and swimming pool are great add-on to wind-up your day with friends and family.

This hotel truly deserves a 5 star review. Don't look further for a hotel in Munnar - just book Cuckmere. The staff - and I mean ALL staff - are amazing. They go out of their way to help you in any way possible and do all they can to make your stay memorable. It truly feels as home away from home. The food is always freshly made from scratch. It takes a bit of time, but you get completely freshly made authentic food and meanwhile you can enjoy the stunning view of the river and mountains. The rooms: way larger and more comfortable than the photos of the hotel suggests. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom large and I had a large balcony with view over the hills and with the sound of the running river. It was magic. The design of the hotel is very eco-friendly yet modern so it is light and spacious.…

HORRIBLE! From the terrible location to the service and upkeep, everything about Cuckmere was a disaster. I booked and fully paid for 2 days and left after the 1st day - That was how bad this place was. - The beds and pillows had stains, smelled awful and were very dusty. We had to ask them to be changed, even after changing, the bed and pillows smelled terrible. - The road to this resort was our first sign that this resort might not be what we thought it was. The reviews online on Tripadvisor and Booking are either fake or about a different place, because the roads are torn down, dangerously steep and damaged my tires. - They provided us with yellow stained bath towels - The floor was full of black dirt, we had to wear our slippers just so that we don't dirty the bed or worse, get disease. - The food was way below average for the price we paid. - The two managers in charge of the resort were very young and inexperienced, unfortunately clueless, behaved as if they were helpless, did nothing to alleviate our concerns. Please save yourself the trouble and keep away from this horrendous place.…

Really nice and awesome view. Staffs are really kind and quick responsive. Surely suggest for anyone who loves to be quiet and chilling the holidays. Clean and neat. Food is nice also. Pool Is also a kind of attraction. Kinds will love spending the time here
