We were on our trip around kerela and since we have two kids 7 yrs and 5 months old , we conducted a lot of research before we booked our rooms. Our visit to Munnar was for two days and after researching about the reviews we booked Fog Resort and Spa. We checked in @ the resort in the evening tired from the drive of 4.5 hrs. We were greeted by the staff led by Mr Shijo. We were offered the traditional Arabian coffee and dates. We discovered that Fog offers a range of activities (the nature walk , chai experience , spa etc ) . They also have a well thought and planned club area which has a host of activities ( pool , fuseball , carrom , chess and a library ). But what we experienced in our two day stay is the involvement of staff and their understanding of minutest of requirement of guests. We would land at restaurant and staff would bring crib before we would request. The ever smiling Santosh Dai and Dil Bahadur and team of F&B would pay attention to requirements of guests. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fog Munnar and would like to compliment staff and their management for their efforts . A must visit for Family members . You will certainly keep recommending to others !!

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of all the staff members . The welcome was courteous and the staff at the front desk personally accompanied us to the room informing us of all the facilities at the resort. The staff was helpful in recommending a trekking getaway which was the highlight of our stay . The house keeping staff maintained the rooms efficiently , the restaurant provided meals to order which was tasty and made us feel at home and repeat orders did not feel monotonous . The service at the restaurant was exemplary . The sent off by the front desk showed the same care as was during our welcome . Highly recommend the Fog Resort and Spa

I am not elaborating in the review. My experience with the resort was excellent. The room was really great and the view to the peak was magnificent, especially in the night with all those glittering lights on the road.
Coming to hospitality, this is the best I have experienced so far. I travel a lot on business and personal vacations and I am not exaggerating the hospitality these guys provided. In my point of view the food menu is not expensive at all. A full chicken tandoori at 600 bucks - it was mire than enough for 4 adults and we had couple of pieces extra too😂
I hope this hospitality and excellent service continues (most properties loose the charm after few years). All the best.
Kids loved the place: large rooms to play around. Awesome pool, these is a very small kids pool too which is really great too.

This was undoubtedly the best hotel I visited during my travels abroad. The setting in the fresh, mountain air of the tea plantations is spectacular. On our arrival we were struck by the beauty of the hotel. Front end staff gathered in the foyer as our bags were brought in and we were greeted by smiling, friendly staff who ushered us into luxurious couches in the foyer lounge and asked to relax. Dates and homemade coffee infused with special ingredients were served. Paperwork was dispensed with effortlessly and we were led our room by a beautiful chaperone who chatted about the hotel, its facilities and what we could do in the time we spent there. The room was beautiful - just what we needed after a long day. Everything about it was special - from the layout, the showers, the bedding and the spacious relaxation area, including the huge bed. The experience in the restaurants was special. From the service to the choice of menu, it was something to remember. We were feted just as joyously when we left as when we arrived. Fog is a hotel you should stay in to complete you Munnar experience.

The beautiful property sits away from the hustle bustle of the city, Fog resort is the ideal holiday place if you seek tranquility. We were welcomed with traditional kava tea and smiling faces and our petite cottage was a feel good place with all the required amenities. Each meal - buffet and a la carte was delectable. It is not always about the big gestures that one makes but the little things and effort that counts. So was the case with the staff at Fog. From the concierge who ardently explained about the amenities to the diligence of the restaurant staff and the promptness of the housekeeping. We still didn't look up the stars that this hotel holds and I am sure with the service they provide, you wouldn't need to measure their efficiency with the stars. I'll always have a recall of their folded hands in namaste as a sign of bidding goodbye.

We had a very good experience with the Fog Resort overall. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. We also got to know of and participated in the daily programmes at the resort, which included the daily trek for about 30mins to see spices and fruit trees and tea plantation. There is also afternoon chai tea and snacks to be enjoyed and the evening Kerala dance performance by the pool side.
However, we suggest that the property and nearby property owners can consider improving the situation of the bumpy road on the left side of the hotel's main entrance as all vehicles that come in need to move really slowly to get into the main entrance.

The resort is absolutely stunning; perched on a hill top you stare at the lush green plantations all around when you stand in the balcony. The rooms are very pretty big with a huge balcony where one could spend hours gazing at the chirping of birds or breathing oxygen enriched air. We were greeted with folded hands & offered a quick bite & a refreshing drink on arrival. We were then ushered into a room on the 1st floor & were impressed with the views from our room. The breakfast had a huge spread & was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Food was delicious & we ordered it off the menu which the chef kindly prepared for us. The only downside .. maybe some would call it a blessing ... is that it is far away from Munnar & a to & fro journey could set you back by at least Rs.1000 each way. Public transport is almost not available & there is nothing to do around the resort. For the explorers, there is an auto stand about 600m away from the resort & this could be one of the cheap options for you to get to Munnar town..... needless to say you have to walk. We were again greeted with folded hands while leaving the resort & were quite happy with our stay at 'The Fog'. Thanks to the staff who made our visit memorable

I had a very pleasant stay in Fog, Munnar and staffs were extremely courteous and made my stay even more wonderful. Food served in the restaurant was serving some very good seafood dishes. Tea shop available on site is quite unique and gives a very unique experience.

This is one of the best resort i have been to. The place is spotless clean which deserves a thumbs up. Also the staff is extremely courteous and helpful, they all are always ready to help you with a smile. The best part of the resort is its location, it is situated in between lush greenery from all the sides. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable Will definitely recommend this place for a holiday.

Exceptional place! The hospitality of the staff at The Fog resort is a class apart. Everything about our stay at resort exceeded our expectations. The place has some jaw dropping views, and the sunset spectacle each evening is just breath taking. The enitre staff at The Fog is very warm, welcoming and helpful, they go out of their way to cater the needs. Everything at the resort is very well managed and they've paid attention to detail. The resort has a good sized pool facility which is very clean, also well maintained, the kids loved having a swim everyday while we enjoyed playing badminton by the poolside. They have a gaming room on the first floor which will keep both kids and adults occupied. I was so impressed with thier breakfast and dinner buffets, the food here is excellent and they have a large variety to choose from. They also provide complimentary tea and snacks every evening, which one enjoys with beautiful old melodies and a delightful view. We had a fantastic time at the resort and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to Kerala. All in all it was a very memorable experience and we look forward to coming back here again! My heart is filled with utmost gratitude for the staff of The Fog, especially the General Manager Mr. Paraveen, who's a thorough gentleman. It's been an honour knowing him. Also thankful to Mr. Nibin for organising a very pleasant stay for all of us.

Dear Sir, We do have a wide spread dinner Buffet which is being sold at a pricing of Rs.800 per head. It has a mix of both south/north Indian dishes, Chinese and continental as well; with 6 varieties of salads and desserts
