If you truely loves nature, you can appeal this place as one of best one in munnar. Excellant landscape with man made gardens and god made forest, seems well crafted by giving us a feel of inseparability from nature.Hosts and food also very remarkable.Speial remarks to Mr.Jiby ( Property Manager) and Mr.Varun(Guide) for their efforts to made us more comfortable.Breath taking view points, dense forest views, courteous hosts, soothing climate, gave me a wonderful experience to feel the place like a wonderful part of the world.

the ride to nature zone can only be accessible by their own jeeps. the ride was the roughest we encountered of all. but the beauty awaits you once reach the resort. Full of nature'e best, stayed in the tree house. very good view from balcony. breathtaking view from the view points. make sure to go to the view point right behind the lobby which gave the best view of all. they also have camps. very chilling night. It gives a taste of living with nature. away from a busy live. we had a wonderful time there. staffs were very helpful in helping our luggages. food was good.

This was my first visit and definitely not the last, came here for my birthday 🎂 celebrations and experienced both tree house and African tent.
We stayed in the property for 3 days 2 nights and went for trekking in the morning with a 360 view of Munnar. Since the staff knew we were there for birthday celebrations they were very sweet and kind to arrange a birthday cake and candle light dinner. We met the owner of the resort who was a gem of a person who made sure our visit was the most memorable one. Very courtious Staff who always had a smile on their face. Language is not a barrier as everyone knows English. Food was great and went with the recommendations of the manager Fagin John. Sudish was an all rounder person who helped us with everything. You get to do offroading for about 30 to 40 mins one way when you have to reach the property for which ull end up paying 3000 to 4000 outside but here it was for free. For the most safest forest experience this place is highly recommended.

Let's start with the positive; the location is amazing and the staff is kind. We stayed there 3 nights including NY eve and appreciated the activities organised.
The negative: We were asked to call 45 minutes prior to being picked up in Munnar for the ride to the resort. As we had a 4,5 hour drive from Kochi to Munnar we decided to call when in Munnar so we would have time for lunch. But the car was already there and we were picked up without having had anything to eat. And when we arrived at the resort it was after 3 and the restaurant was closed (all we could order was a snack and tea). Not a very nice welcome.
We stayed in one of the tree houses expecting to enjoy nature and stunning views, but this was not possible because of incredibly dirty windows. The whole place looked quite smudgy, but that could also be because the treehouse was so run down. They communicate being an eco-resort and a plastic free zone. The tree house is decorated with plastic. Why? The green plastic grass on the floors and wall in the tree house don’t fit the concept. The plastic toilet seat was broken and we had no toilet paper (had to ask for it and walk all the way to the reception). The first night we had no water when we wanted to take a shower. The 3rd night the water/ shower was cold. Off course decoration is a matter of taste, but everything about this place is cheap. The pictures on the wall ( I think they left the picture in that comes with the frame). Why not put a nice photo from the area? I know the owner has many, he showed me them on his phone. Curtains are too long for the window and are resting on the side table. This place needs serious doing up with some love and attention! The food is basic, but OK, all you can choose from to drink is hot water or cold water, tea and (horrible) coffee, the ambiance is lacking atmosphere. When you book a special package, only then you get candle light at the table. Why can not every table have a candle to give a bit more warmth to the somber looking restaurant in the cold evenings. With breakfast one day there was a kind of sweet strawberry lemonade, not even fresh juice. The presentation, the dishes, cups, cutlery: everything is poor! We were very disappointed and felt cheated on as this place is incredibly run down and over-priced.

Response from Anurag Baby, Sales at Nature Zone Jungle Resort Munnar
Responded 14 Feb 2023
Dear Mr. Marit. Greetings from Nature Zone Jungle Resort, Munnar.. Thank you for taking time to share your experiences with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during the stay. The time you choose to stay with us is the most expensive time of the year. During Christmas and new year time the rates are almost double compared to the other time of the year in all resorts across the country. During the other periods the rates are not so high. We are very glad to know that you enjoyed the location of the property and the attitude of our staff. The areas where you had faced difficulties and inconvenience has been taken seriously and due steps are being taken to rectify all the areas of shortcoming as pointed out by you. Regarding the pickup from Munnar town, since the jeep was already there at the time of your arrival we picked you up.. because it takes nearly one and a half hour for the jeep to go and come back and did not want you to wait for that long and also we had no idea you wanted to have your lunch and then take the ride to the resort. We normally serve all food items irrespective of the timings, so we had a check on what had happened on that day and we found that one of staff was at fault which led to this situation. It has been reported to the management regarding that person and strict action will be taken on this regard. Your comments regarding the presentation, interiors of tree house , photos has been valuable and the management has decide to take necessary steps based on your input. We always try to keep the place as nature friendly as possible. But in certain areas we need to compromise because of the durability of the product, the location of the property, the climate ( 8 months in year it is raining ), the amount of weight that is permitted in the tree house since our tree house is build right on the truck of the tree and there are no separate support for it. Most of the year the climate in Nature Zone is moist and during the other time there is very minimal sunlight falling in the tree house area due to the tall trees In that area. However we will definitely take measures to improve as per your inputs and we once again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during your stay with us. Thanking you

The best resort to enjoy munnar. Each and everything customised. Ambience priceless.

Access is through a 7 km ride(out of which 4 km is completely off road) in a jeep, it's the only vehicle which can reach there. Cars should be parked in a yard near munnar ksrtc bus depot.

This resort is near the highest point in munnar. Restaurant to tent, treehouse to restaurant everything is a few meters apart and at various levels, so a good amount of walking and climbing steps is involved.

For kids, there is a well maintained play area, badminton court, archery and carroms. Camp fire with good music is provided.

After a trek in the morning we get a breathtaking view of eye level clouds. Then after climbing two more hills we get 360 degree view of munnar.

Two days minimum needed to explore and enjoy the breathtaking viewpoints inside this property, one day in tent and one day in tree house for the best experience.

No room service, we need to go to restaurant. No buffet, everything made on our order just before we arrive. Exceptional food, cleanliness and customer service.

A must visit place which leaves you awestruck.

Stayed in 106 tent and 204 tree house. 205 tree house is the farthest one inside the jungle. Thank you for making our stay the most memorable one !

Our two nights stay in tent would be the most memorable days in our life. It would be even fair to say best nature resort in India because we completely loved the nature and the place where the resort is situated. best part of our stay was, we were able to see sun rise right from our beds inside the tent and major speciality of this resort is they have sun set view point also inside the resort, so we were able to experience both things. Hospitality of staffs was so amazing and I liked the way they gave importance to food. Its so tasty.

When it comes to activities, they might lack few games but the daily trekking activity which they arrange made up for everything, We trekked to a place where we can see 360* view of entire Munnar was just breathtaking.

Really loved our stay here. Location was amazing and the walks had some stunning views! Staff were very kind and helpful. The food was the best we have had in Kerala! Loved our little treehouse escape and staff were great with arranging transport. Also loved having an actual tree in our treehouse. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

May I add that the curtain length in the treehouse was immaculate - perfectly fitted the window - blew me away

First, let me thank all the staffs & management for such a heartwarming welcome & hospitality.

To start with we were 6 travelers in total (consisted of a 3yrs kid & rest all being adults) the journey from Munnar town took approx. 45- 50 min to reach this magnificent hidden world in Munnar. This journey was with stop overs for photoshoot inside the tea estates.( not like other common spot filled with crowds or having no privacy) this 45-50 min we were enjoying the off-road experience (just like doing in wild safari) few places we were anxious to encounter any wild animal. unfortunately, we didn't see any. We reached the resort and such a lovely ambience, decently goes with its name (NATURE ZONE). Treehouse, Tents and Restaurant the way how they are maintaining everything there is exceptional. They won’t compromise on quality at all. We enjoyed the food too as it was cook very well and of course delicious too. We did a day trekking too inside the jungle and the way to the top of the hill to see an astonishing view of Munnar.
Just Amazing !!!

Next time we visit Munnar, we surely stay at Nature Zone only. :)

Thanks, Mr. Mahesh, for all your support.

The owner/manager is a big cheater.
I want to aware other people who want to book this place first of all,we didn't get the booked tree house and we already paid for that tree house.in place of tree house, they provided us tent house but the price was less as compared to tree house.now cone to the main point, they refused to refund the adjusted amount and due to the off road location we were unable to leave the property so they took advantage of that and we were forced to waste our one day staying there.
So overall we were cheated ,we felt helpless.
Booking this property felt like a loss of money, time and energy.

I won’t sugguest that ! It is a risky road with sharp turn and they dnt have any street light there as well ! The road is a rough road it might be dangerous to go to the resort by bike untill you have good experience in riding the bike in mountains :) Rest I personally say resort THAR is much better than Royal Enfield ! Have fun :) Stay Blessed :)

Choose any of the tree houses they are well placed and you wont have any issues with privacy. I would rather suggest take the one closer to the restaurant so that you wont have to walk longer to reach they as they dont serve food inside the rooms.
