I always wonder what I will find in a budget motel. At the Rodeway Inn of Dillburg, PA, I found almost all of what I want and little of what I worry about. Pleasant air, not musty. Many lights, not gloom. Laminate flooring, not dirty carpet. Plenty of workspace, but cramped. Totally clean, not questionable. Bed firm, not saggy. And... More

The other reviews are reminiscent of how I feel about this place. While be it was clean, the room smelled of cigarette smoke. It was bad. I had stayed here before with family, and it was fine. I found a new place to stay when I come down to visit my family, so I don't think I'd come back...

It is a OK place to stay at but I would not make a habit of staying here. The prices were cheap and the room, while a bit outdated, was well kept. But it looked a bit odd from the outside and on the night of my last stay here, there was loud music being played until 3 am in... More

The location was good - not too close to Gettysburg to entail the added price of actually staying in town, but only about 25 - 30 minutes drive. To the city (and about 10-15 minutes from the PA Turnpike). However, as some of the other reviewers already touched upon, the room in which we stayed could have been cleaner (the... More

They expect you to pay for your stay, upfront. Not just take your credit card and put a hold, but settle the entire bill when you check in itself, even though you are going to check out 2 days later. The room was adequate. It included a mini-fridge, a microwave, TV, coffee machine and ironing board. They say breakfast is... More

We spent one night here and were glad it wasn't going to be a longer stay. The room was small, with too much furniture crammed into it. It smelled musty and disgusting. It was in the 90s outside, but the air conditioner wasn't on until we arrived to turn it on. The carpet smelled and was stained, and it didn't... More

I probably would have given this motel 4 stars if it were not for them allowing smoking in non-smoking rooms. I booked a non-smoking room and the room had a 'no-smoking' sign on the door. When we got into the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke and there was a clean ashtray on the dresser. I went to the office... More

This is my second review of this motel and I didn't like it as much this time. Either I noticed things that didn't bother me last time or it's gone down hill. It's an ok place to lay your head at night but not much more. The owners really need to freshen up the rooms. The bed linens are very... More

This is a tiny motel that was built sometime in the '50's, I would say, as evidenced by the pink and black wall tile in the bathroom. (Floor tile has been updated). We just wanted to rest our heads cheaply for the night rather than drive 2 hours to Round Top the next day, and for being only 7 miles... More

I chose this motel because it was between Harrisburg and Gettysburg. Mistake. If you want a bargain and have no expectations, then it will work. But the room is small, uncomfortable, and in my room I could hear the TV from underneath way past midnight. I moved to a Comfort Suites outside Harrisburg.
