The crown jewel of Danville and its main economic engine is the well regarded Geisinger Clinic. The rest of Danville does not come close to this degree of excellence. Accommodations are also in short supply which makes the Pine Barn Inn the best of the lot. Rated on an absolute scale with more robust competition it would rate as a...

Thank you, Daniel V, for your response, and for staying at the Pine Barn Inn. We appreciate your comments, and I am sorry that you found our property, and our community for that matter, to be less than what you had hoped for. The HVAC (Heating and Air Conditioning) unit in the room that you stayed in is less than...

Over the years, this Inn has lost a bit of its character and has a more corporate feel to it as a result of becoming owned by the neighboring hospital, which is part of a giant healthcare entity), but it's still meticulously maintained and operated, so character or not, I'm still very pleased. The rooms have always been well appointed...

Thank you Bill L. - it is always great to hear from a returning customer. Since purchasing the property over eight years ago, Geisinger Medical Center has invested a large amount of money in the Pine Barn. During each of the renovations, the goal has been to improve the facility without losing the atmosphere that separates us from the hotels...

We were looking for a place to stay for a weekend visit to Knobels and found that most of the hotels in the Danville-Bloomsburg area were booked up (Bloomsburg Fair, maybe). The Pine Barn inn had a few rooms available so we booked one. I was even able to switch our reservation on the day of travel to a larger...

Improadvisor, thank you for your excellent review. Just when you think Knoebel's guests are done for the season, another review from a guest visiting the best free amusement park in the country! We appreciate your review, which certainly highlights all of the things that Pine Barn has to offer; our location close to town, the fact that we are Danville's...

Wonderful place to stay while in the town of Danville ! Walking distance to Geisinger , and a few picture worthy places of interest. The hotel was more than accommodating for extra items that were requested on our stay . Shuttle service to the hospital was also convenient and quick .

Thank you for your review. In your few short lines you have done a wonderful job in pointing out some of the advantages of staying "in town" with us. While the remainder of the hotels in the Danville market are grouped together along Interstate 80, a few miles out otown. Pine Barn is close the parks, the Mill Street business...

The hotel is very nice, quiet and accommodating. Had a regular room, nothing special but very comfortable. Next time might splurge for a suite. When we got there, there was a wedding being set up, looks like a great place to have a wedding also and from I looked into it is reasonable also.

Thank you Noreen F for choosing the Pine Barn Inn. The Pine Barn offers a variety of rooms, including eight suites. If you really want to treat yourself, ask for the "Premier" suite with a jetted tub, heated bathroom floor, full wet bar and California king bed. It was once three rooms, and is a real treat for that special...

The Pine Barn Inn was a nice place to stay, and very convenient to things around the area. Although we were leaving on Labor Day, there weren't a lot of local places to eat (that weren't fast food joints) that were open because it was their holiday also. But there was a Perkins just up the road and that took...

Stayed here in late August for two nights while we visited Knoebels. We were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in the 300 building, which was very quiet. The room was immaculate, and quite spacious. Parking was convienent and it was a short walk to the excellent Pine Barn Inn restaurant. And very short drive to Knoebels, an added bonus ☺!!!
