We stayed there a few weeks ago for our wedding anniversary. The innkeeper was a sweetheart, and has the best tips about the area and things to do. Breakfast was amazing, everything is super fresh, straight from the farm, it doesn't get better than that. She even has little snacks in the guest kitchen for you when you get those... More

I stayed at the Filbert B&B this April while section-hiking the Appalachian trail through Pennsylvania and Maryland. Sue drove me from the AT crossing at Little Gap Road back to the B&B. Breakfast was great (a real departure from trail food) and consisted of juice, eggs to order, potatoes, bacon & toast. Upon Kathy's recommendation, I stayed another day and... More

A treasure of an historic B&B. Close to Blue Mountain, my spouse and I had a wonderful snowy ski weekend with Kathy at the Filbert B&B. The restoration of this Victorian farmhouse will take you back in time with hospitality to match. Beautifully appointed room (Lee Herman). Looking forward to a return visit.

My boyfriend treated me to a birthday weekend here a few weeks ago. We were blown away! We were greeted at the door by Kathy and Sue. They are so welcoming and friendly. We got the tour and went to our room. They have different rooms here. Much like a quaint adorable house. You really feel at home. For my... More

Our experience was wonderful! The food was delicious. Kathy, our host, was so nice to talk to. The place really takes you back in time. A perfect way to celebrate the season. We will definitely be returning to The Filbert!

We were in need of two rooms when traveling to Jim Thorpe. One for my husband and I and one for my elderly mother. I found This B&B on trip advisor and I am so glad we contacted Kathy. She was overly accommodating, welcoming and she went out of her way to make sure we and my mother were comfortable.... More

I have lived near this area for my entire life and just recently found this B&B. Not only is it a B&B, but they have this amazing barn that we utilized for a bridal shower and a general store to use for events as well. The property is very well maintained and it was very pleasurable to be in those... More

My 19 year-old son and I stayed at the Filbert B&B for two nights and also made use of Kathy's hiker shuttle services as we spent a few days on the Appalachian Trail. On both fronts, Kathy was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The Filbert itself is a lovely old house with some really charming qualities, and Kathy does a lot... More

Kathy picked us up on a frigid March day at the trail head. We were given clean things to wear while our laundry was done. Given the menus for local deliverable far. We took her recommendation and were pleased with the result. The rooms were luxurious with period furnishings. Breakfast was amazing and included plenty of farm fresh eggs and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights to go skiing at Blue Mountain. It was an awesome bed and breakfast and Kathy is great. “Although a room was unnecessary for our event, the location to the ski slope in the winter is great. It also would be a delightful place to stay at any other time of the year....especially to enjoy a romantic fall foliage weekend.”
