Another great visit to our new favorite inn. Now our go to place to stay when we spend time in the Poconos. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The cabins we've stayed in have been lovely. The overall atmosphere is serene, winter or summer. At the end of a long fun filled day, it's nice to come back to our home away from home. I also recommend dining in their restaurant. We celebrated Valentine's day there. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfectly romantic and included a piano player. We look forward to returning very soon.
The Crescent Lodge provides a warm cozy atmosphere in a quiet beautiful setting. The owners pay attention to all the details and go out of their way to make sure each visit is memorable. I highly recommend staying here or choosing the location for a fantastic dinner.
First time visiting the area I was looking for a Resort or B&B in the Poconos. Chose Crescent Lodge as they have a bar and restaurant on site and seemed close to everything we wanted to do. Good location choice but over-priced for off-season. No idea what the $30/day resort fee is for as everything I usually associate with resort fees is closed for the season. Rooms in the main building are fine but if you are in a room facing the main road, it can be loud. Customer service was outstanding, front desk, bar, restaurant. Might be worth the price in season but I would not stay here again at current pricing.
This place charged $260.00 a night! When I opened the door I almost died. I paced for hours wondering how ANYONE could charge what they did for this room!! It was disgusting! The furniture had stains on the arms and looked as if it just came out of a fraternity house. Beware!! Rib-eye awful and chewy in there restaurant. Continental breakfast was served on bread plates!! Completely ridiculous!! Never again, I’ll stick with the resorts in the area.
My husband and I chose this place for a quick getaway Labor Day weekend. We stayed in the Edgewood cottage which was really nice. No complaints. We used the main Inn for dinner one night and free breakfast every day. We also took advantage of walking the trails. They were short but gave us a little exercise. The huge jacuzzi tub was a great plus also. It was a little pricey but would go there again.
