We stayed here last summer and were very happy so we called to stay again and were told they only had smoking rooms left - we took the room because our experience was nice the time before. We got to the hotel only to find out the smoking rooms were in a different building all together. It was an "old...

We paid $72 for a night's stay. The hotel is clean and neat. Nothing homey about it just a nights stay. Sparse breakfast but enough to get you going in the morning. Would recommend if you are traveling through.

We booked this hotel for sunday night labor day weekend not a lot to pick from in the area. Based on reviews we figured it would be a good choice. We had nine motorcycles in our group and spent the day riding the mountains and enjoying the area but the last twenty miles going to the hotel was spent in...

Stay there for Cherry Springs state park star gazing, the hotel has two buildings, the new one has a lobby and some standard rooms or smaller suites, the other one on the east next to a stream bank has larger suites. About 20 minutes driving to Cherry Springs, very close to Coudersport town center. The room is clean and lots...

If you are looking for a basic hotel, w/o fancy amenities, then West Gate Inn is the place to stay. It is somewhat centrally located on the western edge of Coudersport, so you are not in the center of town, but only a 5 minute drive from it. The customer service was very good. The beds are a little hard,...

Hotel was clean. Nothing fancy but fit the bill just fine. Reasonably priced. Quiet hotel. Rooms were nice size. Company my husband works for will use this hotel for their travel when in the area. So with that said, it had to be nice enough to suit business executives.

Couderport is such a tiny town - and not a place easily accessed from the big city. Once there, though, you're greeted by people who remember to do business the right way. There's a true home town sense of wonderfulness. The West Gate Inn is one of those such businesses. Located on the main (and only) road through town -...

We keep going back each reunion and will continue to...

Clean. Spacious. Staff was very friendly. We rode a motorcycle and they proactively let us put under cover. Basic hotel that would be rated a three by aaa or others I think. For us, it was a stop over spot on our way to the finger lakes. We would stay here again if we needed to be in Coudersport again.

The room was a nice size & clean. My view was very beautiful (I was in the annex building that allows smoking). Grounds were nice. The breakfast was severely lacking. It was basicly some orange drink (not juice) and two types of undercooked muffins. The noise from the shower in another person's room woke me up at 7am.
