My daughter and I take trips every year to bed and breakfasts or unique hotels and or inns. We were very excited to stay at the Gateway Lodge. Everyone is extremely helpful with information. We stayed in gallery room 3 which is above the dining room. We were told the rooms were renovated and it is beautiful. Bark on the...

This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Although we spent just one night there, it gave us a chance to hike down to the bank of the Clarion River. There are many trails in Cook Forest. We found the provided walking sticks at the beginning of the trail we chose...

The rooms at the Gateway Lodge are wonderful- soft beds, jacuzzi and gas fireplaces in some rooms, and also soft bed. And the gourmet food is to die for. The staff is SUPER nice and at your service! I highly reccioend it!

I rarely throw around words like "perfect", but in this case it's fitting. From the moment we checked in and had a tour of the place from Ernest, to the moment we checked out, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable, cozy and clean. The food was incredible, and the service was enough to feel like we were well...

My mom and I went to the Gateway Lodge this evening for dinner. Neither of us got the 5 course meal since we didn't think we were that hungry. I had a lovely pan roasted chicken with Hen of the Woods mushrooms, which was very nicely cooked. My mom had the salmon which wasn't quite as flavorful as my dish....

The lodge and room were absolutely beautiful, the location was right by numerous forest trails, the food was mostly superb, but best of all was the staff. The staff was incredibly friendly and I even saw one of the members get Robined! Highlight of the trip. If you want to know what getting Robined is, I recommend you stay at...

For the second time in recent months, I find myself having a very different experience than my fellow travelers on TripAdvisor. I will start with the points I would have shared even if we had loved the cabin. The positive - the lodge itself seems to be as advertised - rustic with a lot of wood and other natural details....

Came for a short stay. Stayed in a cabin which was so clean, cozy and relaxing. Staff at the Lodge, Restaurant and Spa are so friendly and professional and make you feel at home. Great prices! So much to see and do or just relax.

Very well done. Staff is very helpful and are all genuinely happy and like their job. This says a lot. Stayed in suite 1, it had everything you could want, except for maybe a table. I wouldn't call it a 'honeymoon' suite by any means but it was very nice and accommodating and WARM! (I think that says a lot...
