My husband and I rode the Great Allegheny Passage last October with my sister and her husband, and our first night's stay was at Hannah's House. The owner was gracious and friendly but not intrusive - she made it feel like we were staying with family. The rooms were immaculate, simply furnished and charming. We were greeted on arrival with...

My partner and I spent an amazing 3 days at this absolutely charming and hospitable B & B - a jewel in southwestern PA. We went to be awed by Frank Lloyd Wright's properties (and we were!!) but we were astonished by the warmth, coziness and welcoming atmosphere of Hanna House and it's owner Frances Thompson. The setting is perfection...

A beautifully renovated farmhouse--exposed brick walls, antiques. Homemade carrot cake and tea, homegrown and home-dried apples, available for snacking. Charming, comfortable bedroom. Deep tub to soothe muscles after biking. Easy, flat ride to the bike trail. Personable, efficient hostess. Fabulous breakfast, mango slices and pomegranate seeds, omelet, bacon, fresh-baked pumpkin and apple muffins with peach jam. Very reasonable price for deluxe...

I biked the GAP trail with my 9 year old son, and Hanna House is a true winner - couldn't recommend more highly. Francis, the proprietress, is lovely and drives bikers to and from dinner in town - quite a service, and very needed after a day of biking! The house is very cool and is on a working farm;...

The Hanna house was the perfect spot for a restful night's sleep. It was quiet and clean. Francis was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. It is a central spot for getting to Fallingwater, Shanksville, hiking, biking and exploring Somerset County. The breakfast was delicious. Definitely worth a return visit. Thanks Francis.

I highly recommend this spot. The house is a beautiful old country farm, well taken care of and has a ton of personality (some construction was in progress in one wing of the house). My room was very charming, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was perfect. Our group consisted of four cyclists from Pittsburgh, and we arrived late in the day...

We had a wonderful weekend in and around Confluence, PA this weekend. We arrived Friday night and visited the Pumpkin festival...very small town America with delicious food. On Saturday morning we had a delicious breakfast presentation by Fran. The food was delicious. She makes everything from scratch and her farm is sustainable.
