This beautiful Victorian home located along a tree-lined street of gracious homes in the north end of Chambersburg was built in 1880 by John Watson Craig(1830-1908). Guests are welcomed to large, pleasant, air-conditioned bedrooms. The mansion's porches, patios and lawn are available for guest relaxation. The mansion features three large common rooms with fireplaces and a dining room on the first floor. 19th-century architecture and intricate wood carving is found throughout the mansion, from the corner turret to the elaborately designed and crafted foyer and open staircase leading to the third floor. A family collection of antiques enhance the richness of the mansion.

The room overall was nice; however one of the keys to a bed and breakfast is the breakfast. They have done away with it. The website, rates section, read breakfast was included. The confirmation email says no breakfast; would be nice to see that on the website. The extras

This is a lovely place, beautifully decorated, very cozy and attractive. Rooms are comfortable. A few issues make this 4 star, not 5: It's rather dark outside, if you are returning alone after dark, and no one is on the property later in the day. The beds are not made up

We planned this one-night stop en route to our vacation destination. It was so much more rewarding than a motel near the interstate. We walked to downtown for dinner that evening. The stay was wonderful with delicious breakfast that included almond torte and poached pears.

We just needed lodging for a single overnight stay in Chambersburg - this was a great choice. Conveniently located to downtown. Beautiful house, responsive hosts and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was also nicely done.

I booked a 3 night stay awhile back and decided to up grade our room from a double bed to a queen. We stayed in the room that comes up when you search CVB&B, Forever Rose. I am sure the other room would of been just as nice and comfortable but I was glad I did change our room.

What is the parking situation? Would I have room to park a pickup towing a trailer?
not likely. Parking on site is a bit tight if I recall correctly but I would check with the owners. If it is not that occupied during the time of your stay you might have room. I believe street parking is allowed and if that is true, then there is plenty of room in front of the B&B

Hi, what time is breakfast usually served?
"Philadelphia Ave. has traffic most of the night, so if street noise is a problem for you, ask for a room in the back."
"3 floors, may want to inquire which room is on what floor."
"Our room included a sitting room/mini-kitchen with a private screened porch. This was great for walking the dog."
"Each room is unique, but lovely! Period style with modern baths and conveniences!"
"Our room was Hydrangea Room at the very top of stairs. Very pretty, lots of stairs."
