This a B&B old but clean. Used it for and overnight visiting Longwood Gardens. Our host was great and made the best breakfast. Our room had a great view with privite bathroom. If you like to stay in an antique furnished place this is the right place for you.

Old, yes, c.1714 with another 18th century addition, a 19th and a 20th century addition. I hope that you asked about the inn's history, as it's fascinating,-300 years worth.

It's been Chip's and my pleasure to do this for several years, now. Our nation's veterans deserve our thanks for keeping us safe in so many ways. A small gesture, well deserved!

Pennsbury Inn is a real country inn, tucked behind some trees on Rte 1. It doesn't look big at first, but there are 3 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, a big kitchen, a large entry hall/office where Chip is in charge of everything. That's the first floor and guest have the run of th

I'm not sure how I missed responding to this comprehensive review. An interesting description of the inn and this guest's experience. Naturally everyone's view of what's available is going to be different and how two different individuals experience a location will also be different. We certainly strive to be everything that a B&B guest is looking for and have managed to convert quite a few of those now former "Hampton Inn" guests as well.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming inn, run by helpful and friendly host. But our room was at the front of the inn, which faces a busy road. I was bothered by a constant stream of noisy truck traffic from about 4:30 a.m,, although my wife slept through it all. Light sleepers

I'm so sorry that you didn't use the white noise machine that was in your room, others have found that, that solves the problem. I'm so glad that you found the inn charming and Chip helpful, and so sorry that I missed meeting you, as I was at a conference learning how to be a better hostess.

We wanted to get away for a couple of days to visit Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and the Brandywine Museum and to enjoy evenings at local inns. The Pennsbury Inn was perfect for us in terms of location and comfort, and we loved the hospitality and the charm of the inn. The propri

Do you have to pay extra for a mini fridge?
Only two of our rooms have a mini fridge. NO extra charge You would have to make the reservation thru our website they won't let me put my website in this answer so you'll have to look up our site to use the fridge as we don't give the third party folks like trip advisor or expedia those rooms. Both Winterthur and General Lafayette have a fridge. Guests often keep stuff in our fridge - no problem. Chip
