My wife and I, along with our friends, spent a wonderful 1-night stay in mid-January. Our friends found the Inn on-line and booked 2 rooms. It was our first stay with Rick & Laura, the Innkeepers but, MOST ASSUREDLY, it won't be the last! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if we had been long time friends!...

We had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay in spring 2014. Much to do in Brandywine Valley (Longwood Gardens; Brandywine River Museum, Downton Abbey Exhibit; etc.). Good food. The price was reasonable because we had a 50 percent off Groupon Coupon.

Location was great. Although on a main street my room faced the back and was very quiet. Our friends had a room in the front and had no problem sleeping. Both in the main house. The grounds were beautiful. The Inn has great bones but desperately needs new carpet and paint. The inn keepers couldn't be nicer. To be honest...

Overall our stay was wonderful. We were greeted by our hosts and they proved to be very accomodating and pleasant. Laura was very informative regarding the restaurants and local attractions; printing off information and making reservations for us. We stayed in Springhouse with 3 other couples which was nice because we had the entire dwelling to ourselves. They are in...

Overall we had a pleasant stay as the accommodations were clean and the food was good, but below are some things to consider: Pros -Location very convenient to local attractions in the Brandywine region -Provided discounted tickets to Longwood Gardens and other difficult to access venues during the holiday season which was a big plus (you may trade in your...

This is a great inn to stay as it is close to a lot of attractions. Rick and Laura made us feel so welcome. Ozzie the dog is a delight although loves to share food if given the opportunity. We had several choices for breakfast and one was Rick's tasty scrambled eggs. They were wonderful. Laura printed out directions to...

We recently stayed in the Springhouse in the first floor rooms. It was well appointed with a large and comfy king canopy bed, antique desk and chair, two slipcovered wing chairs, tv (didn't use it at all), fireplace, small porch with two chairs (too cold to go outside). The room was very clean although it did have a slight musty...

Carole, my wife, and I spent two nights at the Fairville Inn and could not have been more favorably impressed. Our suite (large bedroom, bath, and sitting room with a small TV and desk for our laptop) was immaculate and all the furnishings extremely comfortable. Even though Carole made the bed before we left the first morning, the staff remade...

My husband and I stayed at the Fairville Inn for a long weekend vacation. The property was beautiful, the inn was very clean and the room we had was spacious. We loved the deck we had overlooking the garden - we enjoyed sitting outside before dinner with a bottle of wine. The bathroom was quite bland and could use some...

As part of our American road trip experience, we wanted to do some sightseeing in Philadelphia. I had read that it might be difficult to find B&B accommodation in Philadelphia that offered onsite parking and we wanted to avoid paying nightly valet parking at a hotel so I was lucky enough to find the Fairville Inn at Chadds Ford. Chadds...
