I had a lovely stay in the Rose Room. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, with those little touches like delicious snacks and luxury bath products that really make a difference. And, breakfast was amazing! I've never had such delicious quiche, and the pumpkin muffin and baked apples made the perfect seasonal touch. You can easily walk to any downtown restaurant from...

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 August 2016 via mobile

Caroline and Tim are first rate inn keepers, providing lovely rooms and sumptuous breakfasts. They are delightful people! Carlisle is a fun, active town with many attractions, chief among them Dickinson College. Having visited Gettysburg numerous times, my next battlefield junket will find me headquartered at the Carlisle House. An enjoyable, memorable visit awaits you.

We just returned from a 2 night stay in Carlisle and were very happy we chose the Carlisle House. Tim and Carolyn could not have been more gracious hosts. We had a wonderful time chatting with them each morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Tim can make an excellent quiche! My favorite was the quiche...

We were greeted immediately at the front door by Tim, the innkeeper. He was friendly an inviting. He gave a tour of his beautiful home and showed us our inviting room. He showed us all the remotes and how everything worked... including the fabulous shower. The room was immaculate as was the entire house. The common room outside our guest room...

Each year, my husband and I and sister and husband choose a different b&b to celebrate our anniversaries. This year we chose the Carlisle House and we were pleased from the moment we stepped inside. We were greeted by our very gracious innkeeper, Carolyn and she proceeded to give us a tour of the inn and our rooms. The common...

My husband and and I, along with my sister and her husband, just returned from our annual anniversary getaway. This year we chose The Carlisle House in Carlisle, PA. We knew from the moment we entered this lovely home, we would love it. We were greeted by Carolyn, one of the innkeepers, and immediately we felt right home. Shortly thereafter,...

Perfect location for myself and four of my sisters to spend some relaxing time together. Stayed in Bailey Suite, perfect for five people, spacious, and amazing amenities. Enjoyed local restaurants, hiking and shopping. Always happy to visit Carlisle and remember trips to Dickinson where my son attended college. Would stay at Carolyn and Tim's lovely BNB again without hesitation!

My daughter and I stayed here in August while she danced at CPYB. I am so glad we chose to stay here rather than a hotel! Tim and Carolyn make you feel like right at home as soon as they open the door! We stayed in a room in the front of the home which can be a little noisy...

My husband and I spent a Saturday night at the Carlisle House B&B as a stop en route to our destination south of Carlisle. Tim and Carolyn were so inviting and easy to talk with; they offered great suggestions for dinner and beer tasting options. Very reasonably priced for the great accommodations and private parking; easy to get into and...

My daughter and I stayed in Molly's Garden room on the 3rd floor. The house is gorgeous, the room was wonderfully comfortable, and breakfast was perfect! The location is great for walking to nearby restaurants or Dickinson College. I have already recommended this B&B to friends, and hope to go back again!
