This place really is just as you'd expect: a well-run small B & B in a building nicely maintained by the parks services. In a location that could not be more beautiful. The staff was hard-working and helpful, their events were very social, the building was immaculate and cozy, and the mountains, ocean, cliffs, parks, hiking trails, forests, beach --... More

We stayed just one night in the Lightkeepers room which has a perfect view of the lighthouse! The rooms are small but very comfortable. The home has a haunted history and we did have an odd experience. Just after we arrived we went to our room and it looked like someone had been sitting on the bed. We went in,... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for my 24th birthday in November of 2016. I had wanted to stay the night in the historic bed and breakfast since I was a young child, and finally getting to step through the doors and back in time to the late 1800s was a surreal experience for me. Upon arrival I was stunned... More

The accommodations are lovely and the seven course breakfast wonderful. Set on a hill above the Pacific, the roar of the ocean will lull you to sleep at night and the historic building that houses the B&B will transport you back in time to the late 1800"s. A night I will not soon forget and will probably do again if... More

On our arrival we were graciously greeted by Gary and Cindy (the hosts for the evening) and encouraged to partake in the evening wine, and snacks. They did a very nice job sharing information about the B & B and the lighthouse and a wonderful recommendation for dinner. In the morning you get a seven course breakfast served family style... This place is a real treat and the positive reviews are not exaggerated. We splurged for the ocean front room and are glad we did. The views are breathtaking. We also really enjoyed the nightly trek to the lighthouse. And even though the B&B was full, it was very quiet. We arrived late but still found a bottle of wine... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in October to celebrate my birthday and we enjoyed every moment! We stayed in the Mariner II room overlooking the ocean and what a view! Our en suite bath was tiny but functional with a shower (no tub). We walked the grounds to the lighthouse, which is an easy and paved... More

My friend and I spent a magical night at Heceta Head. The views are amazing and at night you have the whole place to yourself (with a few other guests - are fellow guests were amazing) to explore the lighthouse at night with a flashlight. We had an ocean view room - Mariner II. The room was adequate with a... More

Perched high on the cliff flanked by a beautiful beach and the historic Heceta Head lighthouse with a gorgeous view of the rugged coast and the expansive Pacific Ocean, this bed & breakfast is an absolute "must stop" for Oregon coast travelers. The old lighthouse master's home has been transformed into a comfortable and cozy guest house, while maintaining its... More
