A plugged toilet took three attempts to get fixed. It needed a simple plunge. No phones in the rooms to call for maintenance so I had to go down to the front desk even though I wasn't dressed. Had to ask twice after that-- they couldn't find a plunger! Staff really goes out of their way to be helpful, so I blame management.
Hospitality was well demonstrated. Thank you to all the staff for the assistance as requested. Breakfast being served and hot was nice to have. Could use a touch up in the gym equipment. Other than that all was enjoyable.
This is extremely convenient for shopping, dining & interstate access but the housekeeping needs improvement. The room may not have been rented in a while because it needed to be wiped down on the cabinetry & the bathroom counter. The room had a very unpleasant odor, so we needed to purchase an air freshener to hang in the room. Housekeeping should check the rooms prior to check in if it has not been vacated that same day. This being said, I realize a lot of places are short staffed right now too. The location is excellent & the staff was very pleasant.
We planned on stopping here for the night during our road trip from WA to CA as I was able to get a room that would sleep 5 here instead of having to get 2 rooms elsewhere. Overall, the location was convenient, the grounds were clean, and the staff was friendly. We stayed in the family suite which does indeed have 3 queen beds--two in a front room and one in a back bedroom. The suite was spacious and clean and was a great price. However, the suite shares a wall with the lobby, and the coffee cart and breakfast room are literally a step out the room. The two beds in the front room of the suite have their headboards on a shared wall with the lobby. It is very loud at all hours of the night/early morning. The back bedroom does block the sound, but whomever is sleeping in the front two beds needs to be deep sleepers or bring ear plugs. In a way, it insured our kids didn't oversleep, as we needed to get on the road. The breakfast was great. My kids enjoyed making their own waffles. If the suite had been elsewhere in the building, I would have given this all 5 stars for the value and having a room that could sleep 5 that was clean with a good breakfast. …
Very comfortable environment and convenient transportation , Hope to stay again next time I go to PORTLAND and staying more times , I will introduce La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Woodburn 120 Arney Rd to business partners and friends ...
This hotel is very convenient to restaurants and the Woodburn outlet stores. It is clean and comfortable with a great full breakfast offering. The layout of the room, and the combination of laminate and carpeted flooring gave my room a more pleasant, homey feel than most hotels offer.
The hotel was clean but felt outdated and the 1st floor room felt like I was staying in a basement. I also had some troubles finding the entrance to the road leading to the hotel (it's through a gas station parking lot). I probably would not stay here again if I had a newer hotel option.
Wyndham rewards member here and recently stayed here. Got their most expensive deluxe king suite. It was dirty and nasty in the room and the carpets were soiled. The pool was closed and the parking lot is poorly lit. The luggage carts were nowhere to be found. The back door had paper stuffed in it preventing it from safely locking.
way to much money for this dump my room was down in a basement of sorts down a flight of stairs i am handicapped and i told the booking staff prior to checking in..the garbage in the hall way in front of the rooms remained through out my stay a musty smell through out the floor also the air conditioner did not work very well my liens were stained or not washed
First room offered had a dirty bathroom with visible body fluid on the lid. Went to front desk and was switched to a smaller room that smelled of smoke and had dog hair all over the chair. It was obviously not vacuumed. Went back to front desk and said I just want a clean room. No housekeeping and no vacuum available and he said there’s nothing else he could do. I was in town to visit sick family member and needed to stay close or would have gotten refund and kept driving. Instead I asked if he had bleach wipes, which he did, and I cleaned the bathroom in the first room myself. He said he would discount the stay but I was charged full price. I paid full price to bleach my own toilet. No return call from management to address the issue. I know the world is short staffed right now but if they cannot properly and safely clean guest rooms they need to shut down. …
