Stayed in Room 13. I got a feeling the place wasn't totally honest. I paid a key deposit but it was never refunded. I was told the deposit was the cost to replace the key in case I lost it, but I handed it in the next morning, was told the money would take a day to be returned but that was almost 3 months ago.
Stay somewhere else.

My husband and I are visiting family in the Portland area and found Snooz Inn to be very practical for a budget-minded traveler. While the room and the TV are small, it has amenities to satisfy most adults
The frig/micro-wave/TV were not plugged in when we arrived, but all worked fine. The TV has cable with 90 channels. Wi-fi is available. The table and two chairs are compatible for comfortable computer usage. (the seat places you at a comfortable working height-table not up to your chest)
The queen-sized mattress is firm and enables restful sleep. Although the location is along the freeway, the noise did not keep us awake, but it was nice to have such easy access to the I-5 northbound.
The towels/washcloths were thicker than usual for an economy facility. There were no plumbing problems and even the TP was not an economy quality.
Continental breakfast provided an assortment of muffins/pound cake slices. The room key permitted a 10% discount at the adjacent Dennys.
The bathroom tiles have no cracks and the floor looks nice and clean. The shower has a door/there is no tub. Bars (not installed in the bathroom) would be nice to assist those of us who could use assistance in the bathroom, but we managed.
The mini frig is larger than many, and the microwave was helpful.
While I would not recommend this to my friends (because they are more interested in luxury), I would recommend it to the budget-minded traveler.
There is a swimming pool that we did not use about the size of residential homes' pools.

My son and I drove over 1200 miles with very little sleep so by the time we got to the hotel we just wanted to sleep. Check in was easy and very friendly. The room is very small but we didn't need much since we just needed sleep. The room was clean. The bathroom was actually really nice and it was clean. We had a microwave and refrigerator. Premium channels on TV which again we didn't really watch. The one thing I DID NOT like was the locks on the door. off they would update that I would give them 5 stars.

The price is always affordable compared to the other nearby places! CLEAN, quiet, and comfortable. I love that there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance so dinner is always easy to get after I check in. It's the perfect distance between Portland and Salem too!

It is what is it. A cheap budget hotel next to a highway. Room was small and dated but felt clean. Good for a 1 night crash. It seemed to be a popular spot for blue collar workers to stay while on a job. Parking lot was active in the evening with people hanging out and having a smoke

I cannot believe how we were treated when we asked to rent a room for a week! He looked at us and said “they do not rent rooms, they sell PVC pipes”. No explanation. Only conclusion is for what we look like. Absolutely Horrible. Will be turning them into better business bureau.

Straightforward clean basic room that matches the price. Each room includes tv, fridge, microwave. Was unsure from other reviews but had no issues myself. Great location that is close by i5 and plenty of food options nearby. Will return next time I’m passing through.

HORRIBLE experience! we rented a room for week and the owner of the place opened our door @ 10pm and started screaming at me while my daughter was sleeping. the lady woke her up with her screaming. the lady gave us a rate then all the sudden she changed her mind and tried to raise the rates.i guess that was her reason to unlock our door at 10 at night and tell us to move out in the morning after we paid for the room! a complete nightmare, my daughter couldn't go to sleep for hours. she is just a baby... I would never recommend this place to anyone.I was like a deer in the head lights when she came in. I cant believe ppl they think they can do whatever they want. By the way, there is a pool but no water in it fyi.
