I stayed at few hotels in Portland area as I had a short term project took me to Portland for 3 months. Tried few hotels before I settled at Holiday Inn Wilsonville.

Holiday Inn Wilsonville met all my needs and more which made me stay for 9 weeks.
It had all the amenities I needed for long stay. They had refrigerator and microwave which was essential for me. The bed was firm yet soft and comforter were super soft. The shower pressure was nice and strong and was able to control setting for massage shower. There was plenty of parking spaces. They had nice indoor pool and gym for me to work out and relax. Computer and printer in the lobby whenever K needed to print. They also had a restaurant/ bar which I utilized time to time and food was quite good and reasonably priced. They also had self washer and dryer for my weekly laundry. Lastly they also have sundry shop in the lobby with variety of snacks and ice cream.

At this time, I would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the hotel making my stay very enjoyable and pleasant.

I strongly recommend this hotel for all families and business travelers

Basic hotel. Pictures make it look nicer than it is. Old dirty carpet in the elevators that make strange sounds. Ceiling tiles were missing. The staff are mostly friendly, but some seem annoyed by guests having simple requests.
Don’t even bother about asking for a dairy alternative or something gluten-free.

The rooms where clean, but the renovations promised on their website only covered some parts like bathroom and floors in the room. In our room the paint was old and chipping off the ceiling.

In the parking lot we found people sleeping in their cars, which was not encouraging.

Hotel review

-I stayed here for 2 weeks for work purposes from the UK. Every part of the hotel was 5 star. My room was very spacious, warm, comfortable bed, great coffee machine, nice warm shower, everything you need for a stay. The laundry room was well equipped and well priced with good washers and dryers.
The bar and restaurant staff were very helpful with a great choice of beers to choose from. The food was amazing, compliments to Rebecca the chef, the meatloaf was second to none! Greg, Steve and Misha were all really great servers and couldn’t do more to help.
All the reception staff, Elijah, Trinidad and Cassie in the evenings and Taylor in the daytime and the hotel manager Alexis were all really great, polite, helpful and made me feel right at home. With special mentions to Trinidad and Elijah! From recommending local places to eat or visit, to getting my room serviced or just providing great conversation they really helped me out a great deal on my first visit to the US.
The hotel gym and pool were both awesome too. The gym had enough equipment to go around and provided towels and drinking water as well as some floor fans to keep cool. The pool was nice and warm and big enough to relax or get in some short lengths.
Overall I would give this hotel a 10/10 and cannot recommend it enough if you are in need of a place to stay in the area.
Thanks again to everyone, Troy.

As frequent travelers of both budget friendly hotels and higher end resorts, we were absolutely disappointed in our stay here for many reasons. Overall it didn't seem like any staff - from the front desk to the managers know what they're talking about and lack a basic understanding of good customer service. We were in town for a baseball tournament, and if it weren't for the company of many great friends also staying with us, this stay would've been unbearable. Our biggest issue was being charged for another person's room and then spending days to resolve the issue and get a refund (10 days later still waiting) - with little remorse or apology for the enormous error. The GM, and front desk staff seem completely incompetent and unaware of basic hotel amenities as well. Had called ahead of our stay to request a rollaway bed for our room and was told one would be in it upon check in and was given the price. Upon check in I was told the room didn't accommodate rollaways and no other room options were available. After asking two other staff members I was given two completely different responses about rollaways. These were just two of the bigger issues we faced. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel - mainly because of the incompetent staff. Location was good. Couple of nice employees in the restaurant/bar (when it was actually open).

Refrigerator to small for a long time stay for business. No microwave in room, don’t bring leftover from home or buy in a store, need to go to lobby for a microwave. Coffee in room but restaurant it’s $3.50. They want you to eat in the restaurant which was better a couple years ago. Front desk people are just full of excuse’s. Housekeeping is great. They don’t know the meaning of full service,

First thank you for your business. I apologize you did not have an excellent stay with us. It sounds like your interaction with the Front Desk staff was not great. I will discuss this with the Front Desk staff so improvements can be made. Please be informed some rooms have microwaves. Upon making a reservation, please check the room description as it will state whether the room has a microwave or not. Additionally, if you get a room without a microwave, you can request a microwave from the front desk staff. If one is available, then they will have maintenance staff place one in your room. Thank you.

Although this property is undergoing a big remodel, I don’t believe it will make it a pleasant place to stay! I stayed in a remodeled room on the 5th floor. The room 508 was back in a narrow hallway. It didn’t appear anyone had vacuumed in that hallway for quite sometime. The room was small and dark. The bathroom was much improved from my last stay. All new showers etc. Unfortunately, my room smelled a lot like mold or mildew. It must have been coming from the heat because turning off the unit helped some. It was cold in Portland so this situation was tough. I applaud them for trying but honestly....it is a tough deal! I can’t praise the banquet staff enough for all of their hard work. Not only did they make everything right, but the did this with a big smile and a great attitude!
Meetings here work great! Sleeping here....not so much!

Old, old hotel. We stayed for five nights and were thoroughly disappointed. The odor of mildew hits you the minute you step into the hotel part. (Reception is in a different building! The elevators are scratched up with dirty carpeting. Holiday Inn should be ashamed of this place! There is no breakfast included in the price. You have to pay extra when you book. They give you a ticket to turn over in their restaurant which looks like your typical Holiday Inn breakfast area. The tickets are good for $13.50 but everything on the menu is over that in price you you end up paying even more! Food terrible. When my husband went with his ticket on our checkout day they wouldn’t take it and charged him $6 for a glass of oj! The pool is located in an interior space without any windows and is small with no hot tub. There are other newer hotels in the area but we usually stay at Holiday Inns because they are usually pretty standard. This one is substandard and overpriced. Skip it!

Do not stay here, especially if you book through a 3rd Party booking service! They refuse to make any changes to a reservation if not booked directly with them.

We decided after staying here for two nights, we didn’t want to stay a third. We explained that rooms are very small, walls paper thin, no bathroom fan to minimize the noise, dirty floors. Our dog reacted to the frequent noise in the hallway by growling all night.
We contacted Expedia to cancel our last night and was told they had to get permission from the hotel. The hotel said it was completely Expedia’s decision… however, this is NOT true. We had this back-and-forth for an hour. What we finally learned was that the hotel MUST approve the refund.
The hotel made so many false statements. They told me that they never even spoke to Expedia, while at the same time telling Expedia that they wouldn’t approve the refund. They also told them I was a no show (??). When I got back to the hotel, I spoke to the MOD, Casey. She listened to my frustrations and told me “not to worry, I’ll just check you out”. I left there obviously feeling the situation was resolved.
The next morning, I once again got an email from Expedia that the hotel would not refund my last night stay. I called Casey in complete confusion. She said “I told you I would check you out, not that I would refund you. The GM denied your request.” What?!
I discovered that the hotel will not make any changes to a booking made through a third-party company. They tried everything they could to blame Expedia, while in reality, it was completely their lack of customer service. Stay at the Hilton Wilsonville, a great hotel on every level.

Jenny C, Thank you for sharing your experience. It's unfortunate to hear about the communications issues you encountered with third-party bookings. Ensuring comfort and a positive stay is important, and it’s concerning that you faced these challenges. It's good to know Casey listened to your concerns, even though the outcome was not as expected. They will take your feedback into account. Safe travels on your future bookings.

Sally is unhelpful and on one occasion was rude to my staff that I sent there. All I wanted was receipts from the stays that I booked for my staff, but she just sent me around in circles. Other hotels throughout the Portland Metro Area have no issues sending me the receipts I need to expense them. Other Holiday Inn locations have no problem doing this for me either! I ended up having to just call IHG customer service to get help. Customer service was much nicer and helpful than Sally.

We spent three nights here at the urging of friends staying there for the same period. Check in took longer than usual. Hallways are very worn down and painted so often they look dirty. Room was unusual and cold in appearance. Sheets were cheap and less than conducive to a good nights rest. Some very sketchy people roaming the halls on Saturday night. I guess that explains the signs plastered in the halls explaining quiet hours were 10-6 every night. I t was like a college dormitory. Would never stay again.

Jorge, It depends on what rate you book with the hotel. Not all rates include breakfast, especially if you are booking on Expedia, Priceline, Hotwire, etc... they most likely will not include breakfast. If you want to contact me directly at: 503.682.5597 I can ensure you get a rate that will offer this for you. Thank you, Jeff Brown General Manager
