The grounds are lovely. The rooms are old, not especially clean or light. This place needs a complete renovation. The bathroom was in especially bad shape--raw wood exposed, dirty caulk, etc. It was definitely uninviting. There was a little coffee maker in the room, but no cups. Disappointing.

We stayed here in May 2017 to attend a conference in Salem. Hotels were at a premium in Salem so we booked here. It was great! So much better than the generic chain hotels. The room key opens the gate to Oregon Gardens, a beautiful botanical garden. We were able to take a (plastic) glass of wine and wander around...

My hubby and I went here to celebrate our 16th anniversary. We enjoyed the gardens on the grounds and the unlimited access to The Oregon Gardens. Our two notable complaints are that the resort does not provide a clean, dry smoking area, and the restaurant is only booth style sitting. We get that smoking is no longer P.C. but to...

We have stayed here twice, in the fall and spring. Both times we have purchased the dinner package which includes a bottle of wine and an entree and added a salad and dessert at additional expense. Overall, our food was very good, although the cornish game hen a tiny bit dry (easy to do). The view over the garden is...

After days of sunshine, we thought we might take a trip to Silverton to visit the Oregon Garden. Seemed like the place to stay was at the Oregon Garden Resort since it abuts the garden. Of course, in Oregon, planning a trip due to sunshine means rain and in this case a lot of it as well as hail. We...

My partner and I stayed at the Oregon gardens for 2 nights during the Christmas in the Garden festival. The way they light up the whole place is really cool, it's fun to just walk around and see the light displays even though nothing is blooming. The rooms were very nice and spacious, I liked the arrangement and look of...

We had a one night stay on the dinner package. The meal was well-seasoned - server was pleasant and prompt. The live music in the lounge made our evening! Breakfast was a tasty buffet with hot choices of eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, cereals, and muffins/breads. We were pleased with how clean the room was -- the king bed was extremely...

These large, spacious rooms have fireplaces and patios. The rooms are very clean and the beds very comfortable. The resort is set in a beautiful park and gardens with a tram ride around the acreage. The Godon House, a Frank Lloyd Wright home is immediately adjacent to the park. Breakfast was delicious with many local choices like marionberry compote.

The resort is was great! We were extremely impressed with our waitress Amelia! She went above and beyond standard wait service. If you hang out in the lounge request Amelia as your server. The gardens are beautiful. Overall a relaxing getaway. I don't usually write reviews but felt this place deserves 5 stars!
