Maple Leaf Motel was not fancy, but that's not what I needed. I was looking for clean, comfortable and priced right. I was making a six and half hour drive, to see Crater Lake. Shady Grove was a great place to stay the night. This small town was charming with great food options. Our room had two queen beds, pleasantly...

Beds were very comfy, nice clean and cozy room. We had two queen beds with plenty of space for our luggage, backpacks, etc. There is also a nice sitting area outside with a gas grill available for use as well as a covered area with tables and such. Great for quick trip!

Maple leaf motel is only ok. location is fine. facility fine but nothing special. Bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned before i got the room. Nothing worse then getting in the shower and there is hair on the walls from the last occupant. - total turnoff. Also the coffee pot was not working - that was NOT the problem - when...

We stayed here for two nights so that we could see Crater Lake. We picked this Motel, even though there were others closer to Crater Lake, based on reviews by others that this motel is further but a much better place to spen the night. Almost all of the other reviews were right on. The owners and staff were very...

This was a quaint stopped our travel to Oregon. I really like the small little hotel which is now under new management. We were going to have the day at crater Lake national Park, however we could not get a room in crater Lake. So, we settle for the nearest small Town with adequate accommodations. The maple leaf motel was...

We arrived on 9/6/16. We were on a motorcycle and I asked if they had any rags we could use to clean our 'bike' off - and he said yes. Very shortly afterwards we were given 2 rags, then a woman came by a few minutes later and said here's another rag in case you need it! How nice was...

This is a basic family-operated motel. Despite the budget price, our room appeared to be newly renovated, but when we commented on it, the owner said it was renovated 12 years ago! There is a decent Chinese restaurant almost directly across the street and several well-rated other places within a short drive. One of the best values on our month-long...

Enjoyed two lovely nights here on our road trip to Crater Lake. Perfect place to stay - clean, comfy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. The price is right too! The owners are very accommodating and we enjoyed their restaurant recommendation so much we went back for breakfast the next morning. It's Mac's Diner...

Excellent value. The motel is about an hour's drive from Crater Lake. The room was very recently repainted and refurnished, and flowers were blooming in the gardens on the grounds. This is the sort of motel that makes discovering independently-owned motels a joy. The owners are friendly and helpful. Dinner can be found within a few minutes drive.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a small family run motel with fifteen spacious rooms. We know that traveling can have you missing the creature comforts of home. That is why we have renovated our rooms and decorated them with care and love, just as we would if it was our own home. We chose a color pallete that is pleasing to the eye, comfortable to stay in and feels inviting the moment you step into the room. ... more   less
