Very nice little place. Didn't break the wallet and felt like home back in the day. The house would be cool to check out next time. The hotel room was great though. Love that they had a vcr. Haha my child asked what it was!...More
Granted, I intentionally picked an off time to visit Seaside but this little boutique motel was very quiet yet just blocks from the beach. If you are the type who likes to park your car and walk, I could recommend this highly. There are stores...More
The Sandy Cove is a two blocks from the Promenade and then the beach at the S end of Seaside. Right across the street from a small market, a pub and a breakfast place. It's about a 20-min walk to the center of town (and...More
Booked this based on reviews. I know that in a resort town like Seaside, you pay more for lodging, but at $200 a night I was expecting more. The staff was nice, but the room was a tired, cheaply built when it was new, and...More
Great vacation atmosphere! Amazing staff, fun rooms with creative theme. Highly recommend!
The staff had no problem making sure accommodations were met.

The Sandy Cove Inn is a quick walk away from the beach, about 3 minutes walking. And yes there are two access points where Avenue U intersects with the beach area. The Oregon coast is a simple walk to the west but there is also a stairway ( 2 stairs) to the historic Seaside promenade walk. This route takes you to the downtown area of Seaside, about a ten minute walk. Our guest rooms do not have an ocean view save one, the Jacuzzi suite has a bistro balcony and you can see the beach from there.

Hi! We don't serve food here at the Sandy Cove Inn but we do have a great list of restaurant recommendations available at the front desk. And I know that several of our top picks have gluten free options.
