Drove 960 miles from CA, & pulled in after 8:30 pm. At about 1:20am noisy guests woke me up. Called front desk, no answer, had to get up, dressed & went downstairs 3 flights. I alerted front desk of the loud noises & that a dirt bike was parked in front of the 3rd fl. rm. next to mine. Told night staff that noise woke me up. The rude reply was "What do you expect, it's a hotel." Security arrived & started chatting w/noisy guests for over 10 minutes. Noise continued after security left for another 15 min. Couldn't get back to sleep. I found pubic hairs in showel & (8 in. long) black hairs on a folded towel. It was disgusting & gross, & sink counter was dirty too. I left at 6:30, I called to complain & asked for a refund. Told the manager to check my room in person, I doubt she ever did. Manager said she'd talk to staff, would speak w/ her superiors, & call me back. She never called back, but I did & she said no refund because I stayed the night? No mention of the FILTHY room & No APOLOGY for All my Trouble either. I called corporate & left a message but they never called back either. MY WORST hotel experience Ever!! I CANNOT recommended this company owned by Red Roof under these outrageous circumstances & the subpar treatment I was subjected to. I'm Still trying to contact them about my deserved refund. Their number is always busy & wasting 30 minutes on hold twice has been frustrating. At this point, not only do I merit a refund, Red Roof should give me a free night as well. I took pictures which prove the filth in the room.

DON'T STAY HERE! In attentive office staff. Room was clean butt maid walked in on us without knocking. Padlock broken. Mold in bathroom. No shampoo, no drinking glasses. Delapitated RVs in back parking lot. Trash all over. Building has long term residents. They stared at us walking in. Mini kitchenettes but no dishes provided. Laundry room available. We booked without reading reviews, based on experience at another Red Roof hotel. Never again We! We cancelled our 2nd night and stayed elsewhere. SEE PHOTOS.

Rude front desk very unhelpful want to blame everything on covid when other hotels are running just fine when it came to my small requests....I live life on the road in hotels..I have been to a lot of places worst experience in my 20 years of traveling... 1. You would think a kitchen in the room would have some things to cook and eat with maybe some bowls plates utensils pot a pan? Zero 2. Just a shower no tub... 3. Most uncomfortable bed ever very stiff, itchy sheets and blankets... 4. Two small ass towels 2 feet by 3 feet...and only get maid service once a week and they expect you to use the towels twice and do the maids job by spending $4 to wash and dry the towels yourself.... 5. Have to give an ID to use the hand cart for collateral...like where the F you think i am going with it...going to get my stuff pack and return it when I check out...no ones stealing your hand cart RELAX... JUST HORRIBLE IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE

This is likely the worst hotel in the city. The place is run down on the outside and there appear to be people living in cars and RVs in the parking lot. Just walking into the room made me feel like I was likely going to catch something, yet to be identified by scientists. There was blood splatters on the walls and floor, tooth paste on the door and hair and urine on the bathroom floor. We immediately exited the room, wiping our feet on the way out, and booked another hotel. We will be working on getting our money back. Anyone who reviews this above a zero must normally live in a third world shanty. The only reason one would stay here is to set up their breaking bad style meth lab. Walking in a room will require multiple showers and a hazmat decon. Avoid this place at all costs.

It is super clean. The staff are efficient. The rooms are updated and now have a refrig and you can have meals there. I would recommend this to all who visit our city. It is near I-5 and it acrossed Silverton Rd. from a couple of neat Mexican Restaurnants, a barber shop, and walking distance from Walmart, Safeway and banks etc. It looks new in the interior and the freshness, even tho small, catches the eye. It is sufficent for all those not looking for a spacious hotel room.

We travel across the country and 99 percent of the time find affordable and comfortable accommodations but this particular hotel was completely sub standard. The beds were clean, but the elements if the room were dirty including the shower which was slimy. The halls were dirty with trash piled up on the stairways. There were none of the standard amenities in the room, except soap and towels. No water water cups to drink out of, no shampoo or conditioner, no coffee pot hairdryer and the kitchenette was useless as there were no plates, utensils or cooking ware if any kind. They offered a kitchen set for just under 30.00 and a coffee pot for just under 25.00 and fir all of this they also hold an extra 50.00 as a deposit for up to 5 days. Last but not least trucks barrel down the fwy all night long and the hotel is not insulated to enough to reduce fwy noise. The office staff were not unfriendly but stuck by their policies and let us know that if we asked for them, plastic cups were available at the front desk.

Home Towne Studios by Red Roof 3535 Fisher Road NE I stayed here for 2 weeks. It used to be (CES) Crossland Economy Studios. Everything is the same as CES. It has a LARGE refrigerator, a micro-wave, YOU bring your own pots, pans, silverware, cups & etcetera. You bring anything else you need for the kitchen. The bathroom are provided with towels, tissue & soap. There is a telephone in the room. Local calls are free, toll free numbers are also free. There is a laundry room on the premises. It costs $2.00 for wash & $2.00 for drying your clothes. Problem; the internet is very, intensely, actually, really slow. It’s wi-fi. The hotel has advertised it as “Free High Speed Wi-Fi.” It’s NOT! I’m NOT downloading an anti-virus...I’m updating an anti-virus that I already have. At home it takes less than 1 (one) minute. Here it takes OVER 2 (two) hours! Downloading a 30” video on YouTube takes 45 minutes. At home it takes 2-3 minutes! I’m downloading an 11:06 minute video from YouTube & it takes OVER 40 minutes! I’m downloading a 1:52 minute video from YouTube and it takes OVER 40 minutes. UPDATE THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife booked this stay because of the 'low' price. The building was not clean, the room was slightly better but still not as clean as it should have. For not a ton more, we could have stayed in a clean, comfortable hotel. I had the urge to ask if they rented rooms by the hour. NO amenities. Although touting itself as a non-smoking room, it reeked of smoke. A Motel 6 would be a better value and much cleaner. We won't stay there again.

Absolutely disgusting place!!! I stayed here 3 consecutive weeks. Housekeeping NEVER cleaned my room, never bed linens, nothing after the first week. I had to get linens to change my own bedding and cleaners to clean shower and bathroom myself. Front desk person actually pulled the housekeeping file today (July 5, 2019) and callously remarked, "Well, he said he cleaned it." No apologies, no offers to send anyone to clean....NOTHING! I informed front desk 2nd day that the shower curtain was installed too far out and that water ran off and onto the floor (my room was on 3rd floor). Complained first day that the floor was sticky and filthy and no one cared. While there is a microwave, frig and 2 burner stove, there are no dishes, utensils or coffee maker. Literally, ANYPLACE in Salem beats this filthy place!!!
