We were here for a somber reason. Cody at front desk was excellent and explained everything. He helped our family during this hard time tremendously. The rooms are clean and smell fresh daily. Coming and going was easy, right on a main strip in salem. First time staying with Motel 6 and would stay with them again.

The context for this review is that Motel 6 is a budget friendly choice and should not be compared to a high-end hotel group. Check in was very friendly and whilst some room elements suggest an older Motel there has clearly been an update and overall its excellent and beyond what I normally expect for Motel 6. Rooms are large, well fitted out (if plain, as you would expect). Parking good and location good. Excellent

The service was phenomenal, hats off to the guy that let us borrow a table and two chairs so we could play a few games of Ten Thousand in our room. Besides that though, my crippled mother and grandmother had no place to sit besides the beds, which themselves were uncomfortable. The constant racket outside (mainly the continuous opening and shutting of doors) wasn't pleasant to bear with for even a one night stay. I'm surprised we weren't blasted for being loud talkers, but the environment was so naturally noisy that it must've not mattered. Also, the floor looked clean when we walked in, but after showering, it noticeably dirtied our socks and feet. Will not be coming back again.

Gloria was amazing. She went above and beyond to help my Mom and I. Unfortunately, that was the only positive thing about our stay. The room was okay but the house keepers were loud and kept turning our heater off while we were out. The temperature was at its highest 41 degrees. We would get to the motel and have to wear our jackets inside for almost an hour while we waited for the heater to warm up the room. We were told that we couldn’t refuse house keeping and had to let them in our room everyday.

There is a manager name James that does not want to answer people's questions. Last night we ask for an ADA room and he did not put our name down. I have never had the problem until he started to work. We keep on coming back. This morning I ask if the room was going to be ready today so that we could move rooms. He seemed like he did not want to tell me what I was asking him.

Cody at the front desk is one of the most nicest guys I we have ever had. Was very polite, helped us with whatever we needed and even made us fresh coffee at 8:30pm knowing that coffee wasn’t available until morning time. Cody is amazing and is definitely a one of a kind customer service guy and we would come back here just knowing he will be here. Thank you Cody for all you did and do, you are amazing! For a motel 6 in salem, the rooms are really clean and the price is reasonable. The housekeeping staff are extremely sweet and quick when they come in for daily cleaning. The nighttime front desk guy Cody is really friendly, gets you checked in quickly, has a smile on his face, and very personable. Would definitely stay again :)

This was my second year staying at this motel due to weather conditions 12/22/2022 I called during the week to reserve a room due to the weather conditions in the area and the front desk person was extremely amazing and helpful and booked me in advance and was able to make sure that i would be good to go. When I got there the front desk clerk by the name of Cody was extremely friendly and helpful and he did the most amazing customer service i have ever received in the hotel world. He was able to make sure the two days i was there that i got everything i needed for my stay, from extra towels and bedding . the room was decent and that the only issue was that the times i tried to get into my room my key wouldn't work and then i would have to call the front desk. But because of this experience i would stay here again. Thank you again…
