We have camped at Loon Lake for 13 years in a row, every summer in August. It is the most relaxing and beautiful place I have ever been to. We love to bring new friends to experience it for the first time. This year, there was some trouble with a neighbor that made us feel very uncomfortable, so we talked...

Sometimes a place is far beyond expectations and a huge review is inspired. We had a great time at LL and are really impressed with how great everything looks since our last stay there in 2007. Loon Lake is extraordinarily beautiful. It is a true Oregon Coast Range Mountain Lake with very tall trees surrounding he entire lake and I...

Our family makes an annual summer trek to Oregon to spend time with our big extended family. This year we stayed at Loon Lake Lodge & RV resort, and it was WONDERFUL. There was something for everyone! One of my cousins has a boat, so we were able to enjoy wakeboarding and tubing. We did some kayaking and paddle boarding....

We tent camped for the 4th of July weekend with a party of 9. The resort was full to capacity, but you didn't feel cramped or Closter phobic. The tent spots are also for RV's and they were about 13 ft. wide with a picnic bench, fire ring, water and electric hookups (bring an electrical cord) The small beach area...

We called the Lodge at 6pm on 7/3 to ask about a room for the night. We were told cabins had to be for at least 3 nights and even tho there was availability in the Lodge, according to the "supervisor", they had to hold it to see if anyone would still come through that would stay for at least...

My family rented the Cottage that sleeps eight. We stayed June 20-23rd. The cottage is directly across from the lake. Rating the cottage is easy, If you expect the Hilton then go stay at the Hilton! The cottage is from the 60's but had new interior paint, and all amenities were included. stove refrigerator etc.. Cottage was very clean and...

We paid our $5(great rate) to launch our boat. The staff at the store wasn't very friendly. The staff at the boat launch area seemed put out that we were even there. The boat launch is terrible with no dock next to the launch. You have to move your boat around the large houseboat to get to the dock. Once...

I have to say, I love Loon Lake! The lake itself is so beautiful. We had a group of 8 and we got the large 42ft houseboat for three nights. It was dirty, refrigerater didn't work, heater didn't work, toilet was plugged, had a propane leak, BBQ was out of propane upon arrival and the "emergency" radio didn't even work!....

We were so excited to visit and enjoy the activities as we read about in the web site. However, most rentals were booked and there were little to enjoy. I think reservations are really recommended. People were so nice and helpful. We spent half day and enjoyied the jet skiing and oe riding.
