We stayed three nights at the hotel. The room was extremely comfortable, well maintained and decorated with a good sized and efficient bathroom. Air conditioning was very good; plenty of storage. Staff were excellent: very helpful and efficient. Location was good - just around the corner from Powells Books and walking distance to downtown and the tram system. The breakfast...

The hotel is in a great location to walk to everything that downtown Portland has to offer. The wifi was good (Something that always matters to me). Breakfast was limited and a bit below average (Tang type juice instead of real OJ). We didn't bother to have it the second day. The wine tasting was ok, but it would be...

Mark and Spencer is a quaint hotel in an excellent location in the heart of Pearl district! A great choice for people who want to stay close to all the restaurants and shopping. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the all day free coffee and tea, free breakfast, 5-6 happy hour and clean rooms! Will book with them...

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I followed other reviewers and asked for a remodeled room, preferably a corner one. Upon arrival it started well enough: We were "upgraded" to a king suite on a corner, which was nice because having a fridge was helpful. I asked if there was a remodeled room but was told none...

This hotel is a gem! Very well situated in the Pearl District. Clean, comfortable and relatively affordable rooms. Ours was a corner room, recently renovated on the 6th floor. We couldn't be more pleased!

I'm a little conflicted about this hotel. I liked many aspects of our stay, but improvements are needed too. The good: It has a great location near the Pearl District. There are many nearby restaurants and shops, and it is very convenient to the main highways. The bed was awesome. We loved the giant coffee maker in the lobby that...

Loved our stay in this downtown hotel. Appreciated the quiet remodeled room. We were on the 6th floor. There was NO outside noise. Consequently, we had a very restful stay in the heart of a fun city. The breakfast was fine, loved the afternoon cookies. The wine tasting was not impressive. I did mention to the front desk that our...

Stayed here prior to a river cruise and it was very good for the two of us. This was priced higher than we would ordinarily choose, but we didn't bother to rent a car and that kept the visit affordable. Our room was terrific with very little noise from other guests or the streets. Not a complaint, but the sink...

Loved this location!! completely surrounded by lovely stores and great bars/restaurants. Onsite underground parking - felt comfortable leaving our car + it was easy to come/go as needed. Super friendly staff!! Had an adorable personalized welcome message for our dog and a list of pet friendly restaurants and nearby off leash park - saved us time researching nearby places. I...
