Best wishes for happy & safe travel,
Delightfully comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, fairly clean. Two desk clerks were courteous and friendly; the one who checked us in was bored and almost asleep at the wheel.

The place is relatively clean and accommodating, but very cheaply constructed. Sorry the builder/owners thought we wouldn't notice. Yes, you can hear street noise, but I can sleep through anything so I was unphased. The iron wouldn't work and the thermostat and the wall unit...More

The yellow line (expo center) using max rail takes you into downtown Portland where you can transfer to other lines if needed. Convenient, inexpensive way to get around in a city with lots of traffic, especially during rush hour. I found getting to the actual Expo transit stop from the hotel to be a bit confusing (paved walking path, then cross a major freeway pass with a cross walk) but once you figure it out, it is fine. Better directions from the front desk would help. Check the Portland max rail line maps on line. You will see how the lines intersect and can check rates. Some kiosks take paper money/coins, others only take charge cards.
