Hip but overpriced, noisy room however the location in downtown Portland is great. For USD 35 parking a day you expect a guarded inside parking not street parking with no guard. Overhyped, there must be better hotels in Portland.

Just two days to discover PDX. We are on a road trip from San Diego.A few miles under the belt.
First impressions....retro hip and Shoreditch W-anchor. But the place grew on me and I began to feel at home amidst the cool set.

The hotel has a small uncovered lot a block away from the hotel, right across from a park that seems to be a popular hangout for the homeless. After parking in the lot overnight we found that someone had pooped behind my car. Maybe that's part of the quirky appeal of Portland, but I did not like having to step over a pile of poo to put bags in the trunk.
