The Nordic Inn was recommended to us by some friends. We found it to be very clean, the people friendly, the price reasonable and conveniently located within the SE and NE Portland area. It is very close to the airport and not far from downtown,...More
Nordic Inn was very clean and safe and the room a good size. I rather enjoyed my stay here. Not fancy or too expensive for the stay. Not far from downtown or the airport. Read the reviews because they're accurate. Welcoming staff here nice. Great...More
Stayed 1 night and made enough requests of staff to account for a week. Darlene was excellent. Great service and friendliness. Lena was also good. Not luxurious but clean and a good value. Highly recommend.
I really like this inn, the room is more like an apartment that has everything in it. I felt convenient and comfortable to stay there. Parking was very easy. It is near railway and airport, you may skip it if you are a light sleeper....More
This is a nicer than average old motel, located near a busy intersection and situated near the airport. Neat as a pin and well maintained. Checkin staff very nice.
Some traffic noise, including railroad, but not the worst we’ve experienced.

When I was at the Nordic Inn and Suites, 15 March/16 March, there was no shuttle from the airport. The desk clerk recommended Uber as a means of transportation/ which I hadn't applied for ahead of time. When I first arrived, and inquired with airport Information, a kiosk alongside baggage claim, the ladies looked up Nordic, and informed me no shuttle/ I would need to get a taxi. Beware! The Nordic is TWENTY MINUTES away, and the airport cabbies are reluctant to give you a lift because of the SHORT distance! If they do give you a lift, beware! you'll more than likely get ripped off! The THIRD cabbie that finally said he'd take me to the Nordic, started the meter at $7 .. and, grumbled the entire way about the other cabbies not wanting to take people the short distance! Also, be aware that the Light Rail is about a mile from the Nordic.
