We enjoyed our stay here on our passport hunt. The room we stayed in was small. Pretty much enough room to walk around the bed with enough left over for a couple night stands. Warning: The rooms are above the bar. In essence the band was in my room until 1am when they quit for the night. Outside that, you...

From music to food to drinks to meetings to a place to work, I love the White Eagle. The acoustics are pretty good here and many cool bands play here. I have a McMenamins Passport, so it was also fun to visit the hotel upstairs and check out the art and potential ghosts. I love most of the McMenamins Pubs,...

When booking our room it was fast and friendly and done by calling the Mcmenamins Edgefield Hotel as they handle the check in for the White Eagle Hotel. We always try to get to Hotels early in the day to maximize our stay and time together. I did not read that on Sundays there was nobody in the bar available...

Three of us went to the White Eagle Saloon and Rock & Roll Hotel and we had a blast. The rooms are very comfortable and accommodating. There were 3-bands that played through out the evening, all fantastic. We sat out side and enjoyed a bonfire. Purchased a couple hoodies, we weren't prepared to sit out side so the hoodies were...

We stopped here to get a stamp for our McMenamin's passport and although we came during a not so busy time it still buzzed with ambiance. We toured the hotel and looked at all the art which was pretty interesting. Loved the old time photos of the Eagle back in the day. We may stay here one day. Food was...

I can see this being a negative experience for those that had no idea what they were in for.I knew exactly what to expect and I enjoyed my stay. I stayed with a college buddy and we each had our own room. My observations: -price was as advertised, no surprises -friendly staff -no frill rooms with clean community bathrooms. -my...

Although we have been to several McMenamins for meals or movies, this was our first time spending the night. It's a no worries area with several bars/Restaurants nearby. Check in is in the bar downstairs. Cool building and we loved the artwork. We didn't mind walking down the hall to use the bathroom. Sink is in the room. The band...

If you are looking for a thrill, this is the place to be. I heard a women crying at times. It seemed that everyone who stayed there was on edge. I know I was.... Im some of my random pictures I see ghosts maybe?! Or it might just be my imagination! Anyways, the bar and food was good and the...

Not for the weak of heart. I have enjoyed many McMenamin's properties; and the treatment by staff and general cleanliness and atmosphere of the property was on par with other locations. The drawbacks for this particular trip - - it seems first and foremost a bar/music venue. Fortunately for us, our late evening arrival put us there at the beginning...

Enjoyed a fun stay here at this supposedly haunted old hotel. Cute rooms. Bar will fill up your mason jar to take up to your room. Only downside would be shared bathroom down the hall, but there is a sink in each room too. Don't try to go to sleep before the bar downstairs closes for the night! Thin walls!
