It's a nice location. Homeless in the parking lot and the elevator broke twice while we were there. The hotel is being remodeled. Our room was all new and very nice and clean and smelled clean. I would probably stay in the Hyatt down the road next time. It's closer to things to do, but they charge for parking

The Front Desk person helped me with my accommodations at 10:30pm at night. I had book the wrong hotel and she found me a room. At 10:30pm, I was very grateful. I was also very tired and she really made sure I was okay. I will saty here again for sure. Thank you

The staff is the only saving grace at this down at the heels hotel. The furniture and rugs are worn and filthy. Hilton corporate it’s time for a makeover!! The staff can only do so much to brighten this dreary hotel.

Thank you for your review. Yes, our hotel is needing a remodel and that is what we are currently doing. We should be done with the remodel by early next year and that includes all rooms and public space. Our housekeeping staff works hard to keep our hotel clean and I was disappointed that it was viewed as otherwise. Room was average. Once you go into bathroom, there was paint used to coat the tub. This paint was peeling. To the point, where it was coming off & floating in the water when a bath was taken. There was mold to the grout & where the tub meets the tile. If you have small ones, better keep a close eye so as to not have them ready the paint.

After traveling all day and landing around midnight I asked for a late checkout, at 6 am smoke alarm low battery signal started to beep. Replacing battery fast won’t help, i was wide awake. Jay, our front office manager, forwarded your concerns to me, in regards to his handling of the issue of your smoke alarm going off. As you stated in your email that you have received more points for a dirty moldy shower, that is understandable. That is something that is in total control of the staff. The battery in a smoke detector is not always. Our maintenance staff does change the batteries on a scheduled basis, however, some batteries occasionally will expire before their time. I know from my experience with my home that when this happens it is an irritating noise! In your case our maintenance or front desk staff would have been quick to replace it. …

I spent one night at this Hilton Garden hotel by the jetport. I left my Jeep there during a short vacation flight. When I called the hotel for jetport shuttle pickup they did not come and pick me up, as promised. I called every 15 minutes for their shuttle and stood waiting an hour. I messaged them four times with no response. I have a handicap. I struggled to walk back to the hotel with two bags. Their answer was “their shuttle is not owned by Hilton.” The Hilton Garden name is on both sides of the shuttle van, so it represents them and works for them! I asked for my parking fee be refunded and they refused. No apology.

We are sorry for the confusion; however, the Hilton Garden Inn by the Jetport is not our location. The HGI on Jetport is in Portland, Maine. It often happens considering we are also Hilton Garden Inn Portland Airport, just in Portland, Oregon. I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to get the hotel shuttle. I am a Hilton Diamond member and wanted to like this property for Park and Fly. I was previously using the Radisson for Park and Fly, but thought I would try the Hilton. The Park and Fly process was very smooth, but no better than the Radisson. In my opinion this property is a disgrace to the Hilton brand. On my outbound trip, I was kept awake throughout the night by the AC compressor knocking. Upon my return after arriving at 1AM, I was kept awake by persons above stomping around until 230 then starting again at 630. The ceilings, walls and floors are paper thin. Apparently, soundproofing was not a consideration in building design. The rooms are dated and tired looking with worn furnishings. The bathrooms, though clean, were a dingy 1970's brown. And the lack of a functioning restaurant is a further deterrent to staying here. They have some limited breakfast service, but due to my flight schedules it was never open or available to me. On my outbound, when I checked in, the very helpful front desk person kindly provided some yoghurt so that I would have something before my 0430 departure. On my return stay at night the front desk person was also nice, and approved a later checkout time due to my late arrival. After a poor night sleep, I went down at 1020 in search of coffee and yogurt. I asked the front desk person if they had any yogurt. She curtly informed me "We have what we have. If you had come down by 1000, the restaurant would have been open." She pointed to some granola bars and cupcakes with price tags, and an espresso machine with a big sign saying "Coffee is Not Free." This was it for me with this property.…

This place is a horrible representative of the Hilton Garden Brand. The deck clerk was great and helpful even though she was the only employee in the hotel at check in time. It’s Portland folks, no one should have to work by themselves in this environment. The beds are advertised as king size-they are not! Full size at best. Room 333. Both beds broken down in the center and impossible to lie flat on. The mattresses try to swallow you and not let you go. In many years of worldwide travel these are by far the worst I have seen much less try to sleep on. Coffee maker makes noise but does not actually work. Same with the bathroom fan. Probably why there is visible mold on the shower walls. At least that matches the filthy carpet. Our feet actually got dirty walking on the carpet. Just sleazy to say the least. I’ve stayed here before, maybe 7-8 years ago and it was really nice. That’s why I stayed again . Boy, not anymore. You’ve seen the foreign owned hotels where they buy the hotel and then never fix anything until it falls apart and the company pulls their franchise? This place reeks of that. Sorry to say. I’ll never stay here again for sure. Very sad.…
