Had a late night arrival at PDX, so opted to stayed the night here then move on. The rooms were large, bed very comfortable and a very quiet stay since the hotel is off the main drag. You needn’t be concerned about any jet noise even though it is only 5 minutes away from PDX. If you were driving in, the entrance is a little goofy to find, but being there is a cluster of hotels there I don’t know why I got confused. My wife is a tidy expert, and she was happy with how clean the room was. It was great to have a kitchen available. If you don’t want to use the microwave you can request a hotplate. We usually do this since we prefer this option. The breakfast buffet is standard for the Home2 Suites: Eggs, cereal some sides and Bananas. We stay in Home2 Suites often and are disappointed in the choice of fresh fruit. The attendant was working hard to keep everything clean and filled. I used their free shuttle van twice, arriving and going back to the airport to get a rental car the next day. I cannot say enough how friendly, helpful and prompt the drivers were. …
Clean, pleasant and spacious room with galley kitchen and separate sitting area held our family of four quite comfortably. Nice staff especially the breakfast preparers and front desk folks are friendly and professional. Would definitely come back here on our next trip to Portland. The lobby (see pictures) has a bright cheerful ambiance.
Well, on the light side, we stayed here once and had a great stay. A month later went back and horrible stay. We had dogs barking, shower gel brand called ZERO, and there was none, so it was appropriate that it was EMPTY! When I told front desk they said "maybe house keeping didn't notice". Well, do you think they noticed the TV was unhooked? Yup - the cord for the tv to work was unscrewed from the TV and wall - fun for me and my daughter! Oh, the barking dogs were lovely...and so were the loud people in the room next to us. There is a "one strike policy for loud people and pets" from 9p-7a - but the hotel does not seem to enforce because they didn't do anything to the loud people next door until I had to complain (YES, they were that loud). The next morning, we went to use the microwave - and opened it to find - purple pom poms! WHY? We will never know. One thing we do know is the room clearly was not cleaned well if they did not pay attention to the TV, clocks at wrong time, no shower/body soap/gel, and purple pom poms in the microwave! I felt yucky walking out of there after and can assure you I won't be back!…
The room was spacious and cozy! The breakfast was great too. Tatiana at the front desk was especially helpful. She helped us when we checked in. When there was an issue with the payment, she was very patient and kind.
Housekeeping stole from my room and others that I was there with. Also we had racial issues dealing with the shuttle driver and nothing was done by management. No apology or anything. I would advise to get a hotel in Vancouver.
Right by the airport but it was fairly quiet. Shuttle was quick to pickup and on time for dropping off. Typical Home2 large rooms, comfortable beds and good breakfast. Small indoor pool. Good choice near the airport and you don’t need a car or Uber.
We had a quiet room on the 4th floor. Room was large, breakfast good. Friendly desk staff. Our morning shuttle driver must have been in a bad mood, he said not a word to us, not even when we tipped him. Pretty rude
Hotel is new and located close to the airport. The rooms are well laid out and large. Beds are comfortable. Gym was well appointed but they had the heat on in the summer. I understand it is hard to find staff but the staff that was here was lacking. Not pleasant. Not helpful. The rooms are not well insulated so you can hear your neighbors conversations. They clearly don’t pay attention to how many people are in a room and when we complained about lots of children in the room above us, and running up and down the hall, the morning desk clerk promised to move us after cleanings but didn’t block a room so none was saved for us. I’ve stayed at the Tru right next door, as my our company headquarters is around the corner, and it’s better staffed and not as noisy. Smaller rooms as you’d expect from that brand, but a much better experience. This was $250 for a less than Motel6 experience.…
Stayed one night due to a late incoming flight. Close to the airport. Shuttle service a plus. Breakfast included. But honestly, could not recommend, some things better left unsaid. Maybe they are just short staffed.
Nice staff, nice shuttle service, nice rooms . Close to the airport… returned to our brand new Thule luggage rack stolen off our car- parked by lobby, but guess not close enough. Wasn’t a great end of to our trip and an extra $1000 expense on top of the nearly $500 we spent to stay the night before/after at the hotel.
