We booked at the Jupiter last minute based on location. Definitely worth it! It was right on a bus line and Burnside was the place to be. To be honest, the food and drinks at Hey Love were the best that we had had throughout the city. Would 10/10 go back.
Maybe it’s different in all of Portland; I don’t know. Maybe people turn off their empathy because they are faced with so many homeless persons each day; not sure. Staff was unhelpful on several occasions.
My husband and I loved The Jupiter Next. We had a corner room and the large windows let in so much light while the window screens made it super dark - perfect! The venue was clean, cute, modern, and unique. The staff was polite and helpful. Personally, I love their "We only do housekeeping if you request it" policy because I usually put the "do not disturb" on my door during my stays anyway. The only reason I gave this venue a 4/5 (I would honestly give it a 4.5/5 if I could) is that I didn't love the location as much as I wanted to. There were a few good restaurants nearby and the Thai food truck next door was amazing ... but it was kind of far from a lot of the stuff we wanted to see while we were there.
Location was amazing... Concert right next door... Walking distance to a lot of fun places... Will stay here again for sure.. rooms super clean and bed was comfortable... I cannot say enough great things about this place
Came into town for my birthday and a concert. Had the best birthday in years. Every single person from the staff in the restaurant was so incredibly nice and accommodating. The room was gorgeous, I also got a free upgrade!!!! 10 outa 10 would book here again!
Stayed at the Jupiter Next hotel for a mini staycation in Portland. I live in rural Oregon so it was great to enjoy a weekend in the city where I could walk to highly rated restaurants. Having Hey Love in the building is a big bonus and largely why I decided to stay at the hotel. I choose a top floor Next Level room to have views of the city and I felt that it was worth it. The room was great. Loved the shower and the frosted glass offers soft lighting. The bed was incredibly comfortable and plush. I slept so well. Loved all the options provided in the room to try local snacks and drinks. Discounts to nearby businesses was a nice touch. Only minor inconvenience was that the walls are just a smidge thin. I could subtlely hear the TV from the next room over. But I've learned to travel with ear plugs, especially in an urban environment, so noise wasn't an issue for me. Overall, highly recommend the Jupiter NEXT!…
Stayed here for two nights, excellent location, room was spacious and well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Only issue was noise - from the air conditioning and from fellow guests. Felt slightly expensive for what it was hence 4 stars.
great location within walking ease to Revolution Hall for music. Lots of food choices within 8 block radius. Rooms were very nice, super comfortable with the largest picture windows I have encountered. .
Had my wedding reception here and it was the best weekend ever. We had a lot of guests staying at the hotel as well which made everything really convenient. We walked across the street to Doug Fir for an after party. Everything was walking distance which really helped our out of town guests. The staff is super friendly. The only complaint was that it took a while for them to clean our room and that there wasn't a full length mirror (but that probably only applies to my stay since we used it as the getting ready room).
Fantastic all around. The sixth floor views are amazing, the rooms are modern and comfortable. I will likely stay here any time I visit Portland. I will recommend Jupiter NEXT to friends and family as well.
