I highly recommend this conveniently located, clean hotel for the free shuttle to the airport and MAX light rail, complimentary breakfast and indoor pool. The front desk was exceptional in person and on the phone. The free coffee in the lobby was outstanding. The city of Portland is a short ride on the MAX light rail, which was safe and efficient.
We read all the amazing reviews and booked this hotel through Booking.com. We then had to move the reservation due and the hotel was abundantly accommodating and communicative. Sadly, we never got the opportunity to stay - our flight was due in close to midnight local time and I had called ahead to let them know we'd be late. Randy in customer service was wonderful - and let me know to call back at 3am if we got delayed. We ended up delayed over four hours due to a technical issue on the flight and Randy was gracious enough to cancel our reservation without charge. Incredible! We received this level of service and we were not even yet guests of the hotel! Honestly, it is so special to find such exceptional customer service and we cannot wait to get to Portland and stay at this great hotel!…
I arrived early from East coast. They gave me a room right away. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Room fairly clean. Contained microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. Indoor pool. The Inn provides free shuttle to local mall, and to and from airport. It is very reliable. Buffet breakfast area turned into a restaurant around 4 pm. They had passable food and cocktails. Nothing fancy, but extremely convenient. Overall, very very convenient.
This place needs adult supervision. For reasons not explained, the regular airport van was out of service. The hotel borrowed a van with a different livery than the hotel, failed to cover that livery, and instead posted 8 x 10 printer pages announcing their brand and posted them on tinted windows that were virtually undetectable at night in the pick up area of the airport. I watched this van drive by three times will I look for one liveried in the country suites livery. The Grover got so familiar with me that when the hotel told him for the third time that he had failed to pick me up that he knew who I was and pulled up next to me on the curb. Then! I saw the attempt to change the livery of the vehicle and realized that the driver had been by trying to pick me up several times. Getting picked up what is the low point of my stay, but the hotel itself needs work.…
We had a late evening flight in from Hawaii. Checked into the hotel, front counter staff not very friendly. Went up to our room and opened the fridge and found it not working. So called front desk and they said they would send up maintenance. Next we tried turning on the TV and found it not working. Called front desk again and was told maintenance had gone home, but they would send up security. Told them I have to have a working fridge for medicine. Was told hotel was sold out and no rooms available. Still no security came upto room. Then we called a call from front desk, saying they did some shifting of rooms and found us another room. They said they would bring up the keys for the new room. Waiting several minutes at the new room and no one showed up. So I went down to the front desk and grabbed the keys. My wife and I went into the room and found it had a smokey smell. We were exhausted and decided to grin and bear it. We new it was just one night. We both woke up with nasal issues from the smoke smell. We then went down for breakfast and was very disappointed in what they were serving. No eggs or meat, just Biscuits and gravy. We heard a couple other people complain about the food. So we ate what we could. A couple hours later my wife got sick guessing from food poisoning possible from the creamer sitting out. Back to room to get out stuff, checked out and front desk asked how our stay was and we said not good, room smelled. Will never stay at this hotel again. Will stay at the Radison nearby.…
Check in was a little slow but was upgraded upon arrival by Bre’onna. The room/suite was very nice. Location was very convenient to the airport. Shuttle was on time and breakfast bags were appreciated for us who departed early. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay before or after flight. Convenient and clean. Restaurant on site is very nice option. Staff when checking in was very friendly and welcoming. Parking area and grounds were also very good.
Room and staff were ok, but carpet was well-worn and stained. Parking was included in rate, which would have been relatively reasonable had carpet been ok. For a one night stay on a long trip, this might be an affordable option. However, this was a mediocre experience at a Radisson chain.
Convenient to PDX with reliable shuttle service between the hotel and the airport. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the staff have been polite and helpful during all of our stays. It is very nice to be able to park our car there and leave it for the duration of our trip.
Hotel floors, carpets dirty, pot smell in the halls, cheap sheets, cheap pillows. Nothing to recommend this place except the staff working the front desk, they where efficient and helpful. We paid over $200 cdn dollars for 1 night, it isn’t worth $50 a night in my opinion.
