Neat, clean spaces and friendly, helpful staff! We highly recommend the heated pool. Loved the courtesy shuffle. Near by restaurants and shopping. Room was small but I expected that so be prepared for a not too private bathroom. However, it was a perfect getaway with thanks to Aloft!
This hotel checked all of our boxes. We needed a clean, close to PDX hotel that we could park our car and catch their shuttle to the airport. I definitely will stay here when I fly out of Portland! Staff was super friendly and helpful and the the driver was happy to greet us in the morning at pick up.
We has a marvelous night with two adjoining rooms for ourselves, grand daughter and 2 lab dogs. The staff was excellent in meeting our requests for adjoining rooms - 1 king and 2 queens on first floor - and even let us check out late for our grand daughter to take her nap. We really appreciated the friendly attitude of Alexis at the front desk to meet all our needs. The rooms are modern, comfy and have all the amenities. Grand daughter loved the swimming pool and access to outside for the dogs was easy. We will definitely return.
I travel often - everywhere in fact. Every time I have a flight or stay over in Portland, I always look to book the Aloft first, and for the following reasons... It's the perfect location. So many restaurants within walking distance - literally just across the street. The Max train has 2 stops nearby, one less than a block away. The max takes you to the airport, or downtown. You don't need a car at all. Speaking of cars - this hotel does not charge for parking, and it has a 24 hour courtesy shuttle that picks you up/drops you off at the airport. As for the hotel, the rooms are always clean and ready for your arrival. If you can, get a room on the North side of the hotel - you'll have a great view of the mountains, as well as a view of the runway without any noise. The lobby and bar area are the big draw. The bar is always lively with the friendliest bartenders who know how to pour a good drink, and they are always entertaining. It's a great place to start or end your night. But truth be told, just get drinks - the food isn't anything to write home about, especially since there are so many restaurants close. It has a lovely indoor pool which is clearly cared for, and it is also dog friendly. All in all, it's a wonderful place, and it hires employees who truly care about the customer experience. Don't miss it!…
Aloft Portland Airport at Cascade Station is a great option by PDX Airport. Modern, basic and hip. The only upgrade available is a room on top floor. They include breakfast for Titanium members, however it's not available on weekends. Airport shuttle is very convenient. Lots of dogs! Overall, a great affordable option.
This more of an efficiency than a hotel —rooms are very small, half the size of a regular hotel room. Workspace does not have outlets except below the workspace. While clean room is heavily worn. For the price it is higher than other name brand locations for much less room. Typically at this price point breakfast is included even if it is a grab and go, not here. Staff is excellent and so is the shuttle service.
One of the better hotels I've stayed in during Covid. You'd be surprised how many places don't even bother to put things like sanitizing wipes next to the phones in the rooms. But Aloft Cascade Station definitely puts your mind at ease - clean room, signage and hand sanitizing stations aplenty. A great no frills airport hotel. I will say the best part about the stay was Harrison at the front desk. He was so cheerful and welcoming. I had the simplest problem and he went above and beyond to help - anticipating things I wasn't even thinking of. Overall a great in & out stay.
So this hotel is great the second you walk in, the front desk staff is so friendly! Check in went pretty quick and they had some good snack options available. Lots of dining options within a quick walk of the property. The room was modern and comfortable and had a small fridge and microwave in addition t the coffee maker, etc. The bed was super comfortable and the shower hot. If you have stayed at an Aloft before, they are pretty similar in room layout and style!
I like the Aloft brand, but this place is mediocre at best. Extra towels not provided, room not serviced, no bedside outlet that is easy to access, and a bit too close to the airport based on the sound proofing. The tv remote kept switching to another channel for some reason. Front desk a tad snarky when I asked who’s big truck was blocking the fire lane (was told the GM authorized it). Great location, but sloppy performance. Someone should remind them that occupancy is down and they need to perform. I don’t need to return there. You can skip it.
Way overpriced and overhyped, should have stayed elsewhere. Not enough pillows, not enough towels. Soap dispenser in shower, but no soap by the sink. I could hear our next door neighbors loud and clear. We hated it.
