Airport shuttle was great - ran just as scheduled. Room was smaller than expected, but did the job. It was a bit dated - but we didn't spend much time in the room. Hotel service was fine and the noise level was quiet.

I am a big fan of Alofts. This one had a nice little bar! Good options in the "store" were OK, but what do you expect? A great hotel easy shuttle to and from the airport as well. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming!

I have stayed at the Aloft at Portland Cascades near the airport, as well as Aloft Hotels in Doral and South Beach Florida. I like the format of the hotel a lot. The rooms are comfortable, the staff excellent. I highly recommend the Aloft. The Aloft at Cascade station is a two stop ride on the Red Line from the...

I ADORE place. I have stayed here when I travel to Portland for a number of years and I can not say enough good things about Aloft. It is an excellent value for the price. A budget W hotel that provides all the comforts minus maybe room service. The signature heavenly bed is amazing, the rooms and hotel are ALWAYS...

First the good. It was clean and in a good location for food and airport. No weird odor like so many airport hotels. The service at the front desk was adequate but basic. The negative aspects are mostly regarding atmosphere and comfort. The decor I would say is the hotel equivalent of flannel and a man-bun. My first impression was...

Dear CBB907, Thank you for your review - and for the compliment on our cleanliness! The Aloft is a Specialty Select Service Brand and therefore we do not offer the same services as a full service property. The Aloft is a Sassy, Savvy, Space! It has a unique design for our tech driven guests who thrive in energized open spaces....

My husband and I were traveling with a small child and arrived late at the hotel. We were tired, hungry and ready for bed. Jake at the front desk was great about getting us quickly checked in and went out of his way to recommend items for us in the snack bar so we could get our food and go...

I admit I like hotels on the modern-minimalist side, but the Aloft was a bit too "Portlandiaish" for us (the big sign in the lobby touts "Portlandia," which is a synonym for weird). In short: Good location near PDX with free shuttle, courteous, helpful staff, and fairly nice rooms with walk-in showers. The room was a comfortable size, but the...

Dear 73Duck, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. You're absolutely correct, we've made great efforts to promote Portland as a wonderful place to work and play. We want our guests to feel welcome to Portland the second they arrive. We have Portland artwork in all of our rooms and the Portlandia sign in the...

If you your looking for a quiet stay, this is not for you. I work at night so I sleep during the day. I like Aloft a lot, but with the music coming from the lobby. All I could hear was the thump of music coming through the floor. Won't stay here again!!

Very Modern, spartan hotel. Loud bar in place of restaurant in lobby. Showers with windows. I think if I was 20 I would love it. Nice neighborhood. Decent restaurants nearby and a Starbucks. I prefer room service and a good breakfast. Again worth repeating, when I was 20 I would have thought this was totally cool.

The hotel is very convenient to the airport, just two stops down the MAX, or the hotel shuttle runs 24/7 with little to no wait time. It's the perfect destination if you come in on a red eye, or just don't want to head all the way downtown. It's also part of the Cascade Station development, which has tons of...
