I have stayed at Modera a number of times. My previous visits were excellent. This visit was a train wreck. Customer service is a mess and staff don't seem to care. Housekeeping repeatedly entered the room without knocking. Valet service was slower than slow. It...More

What can I say it sounds like your stay fell short of your expectations as well as our own. I appreciate the candid commentary so we can address these issues going forward. Seattle_Wine_Travels I hope we get the chance to welcome you back to...More
Our daughter got married in Portland, Or. We stayed at the Modera for 7 days. The location is the best. You are right in the middle of downtown Portland. Two corners of the block that the hotel is located has bus and cable car pick-up....More

Staff super helpful and friendly. Great local suggestions. Amazing central location. Moderne chic clean and all the fun stuff you want from a hotel. I'd really recommend it for any one. Little noisy at night but that's the city buZz. Thumbs up!

Good afternoon, excellent question. Unfortunately the answer is no, our rooms will not provide a view of the fireworks but no hotel will get you closer to the festivities of both the fireworks and the Blues Festival that will be going on that weekend. The only hotel that may have views of the fireworks would be The Marriott Waterfront, you should give them a call and see if they have any rooms left with those views.
